Located in the family friendly neighborhood of Rafter J, 4 miles south of the Jackson Town Square and 2 miles south of the Smiths grocery store and shopping plaza. Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks to the north, and the abundant outdoor opportunities of the Bridger Teton National Forest just across the highway from Rafter J.
Hop on the bike path just behind the house to access town, Wilson, Teton Village or the many mountain bike trails from Game Creek Trailhead, just a few miles to the south. Walk down the block for neighborhood-only access to swim in Flat Creek or meander the paths that criss cross through the wildflowers and grasses of our open space area.
Master bedroom looks out on backyard and national forest hillsides. King sized bed with en suite bath, his and her sinks and oversize tub.
Second bedroom sleeps up to three people with one queen bed and one twin. (Current set up not as pictured. Bunk beds have been disassembled. Twin mattress stored underneath full bed for use as needed.) Second bathroom also features full bathtub.
Recently added third bedroom, not pictured (in final construction) off the dining room with full sized bed, can be used as either extra bedroom, playroom or office.
The large living area feels even more spacious thanks to high ceilings and large picture window letting in light. Natural gas fireplace makes for comfy ambiance. Remove back cushions from the plush velvet sofa to enjoy as additional twin size bed.
Fully stocked kitchen features ample counter space, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, gas range and oven. Walk from dining area out to backyard with large deck, also facing National Forest. Irrigation canal along perimeter provides tranquil sound of running water and attracts an abundance of bird life, butterflies, and moose, otter, muskrats and more.
Laundry room with washer and dryer.
Extra long driveway provide ample off street parking. (Owner's car will remain parked in garage during summer but otherwise garage may be used for storage.)
High speed internet with WiFi. (Please inquire about adding television.)
After a day of adventure, catch fantastic sunsets over the Tetons from the front deck as you relax away the long summer evenings.
The cul de sacs of our neighborhood make for fantastic outdoor playtime for children, so please be respectful of our young neighbors by minding area speed limits and refraining from loud, late night parties.
