This nice one-room loft is located in the Trastevere area, a short distance from the Janiculum Hill. It is on the ground floor of a building with a condominium garden, in a really particular private Village called Borgo Colli Lanzi. Its modern furnishing, together with the parquet floors and central position make this unit particularly suitable for a couple or for those who are in Rome on a business trip.
The studio consists of a large room with a double sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen with a large counter and stools, a bathroom with shower and an area with an armchair bed and a table. It features air conditionting, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave oven, internet connection with cable and WiFi, LCD TV and double glazed windows with mosquito nets.
The atmosphere in this original hamlet is wonderful. It seems to be in a place out of time, although very close to the heart of Trastevere, full of life and modernity. The colors that surround the walkways and stairs, the flowers and silence are a cure-all, especially after spending the day walking through the noisy and busy city streets!
Trastevere, the old neighborhood, located near the Janiculum hill and on the other bank of the river from the old town, it was a working class neighborhood of Rome, in the past and has over time become a place of traditions, art and typical Roman cuisine. The charm of this place of Rome can hardly be described, the alleys are filled with shops, restaurants, often with tables outside on the street, bars and stalls with all kinds of products. The main square (piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere), is filled with street performers and hosts one of the most beautiful churches in Rome, Santa Maria in Trastevere.
Trastevere maintains its unique and historic character due to its cobbled streets and medieval houses. Now famous for its buzzing nightlife, the district boasts a wealth of bars, restaurants and clubs to suit all tastes.
Located in the west side Tiber, it's just few steps away from the city center (Piazza Navona, Campo de Fiori, Piazza Venezia).
While, the Janiculum is one of the best locations in Rome for a scenic view of central Rome with its domes and bell towers. It's a must to visit the church of San Pietro in Montorio, the favorite church to get married and near there's the Fontana dell'Acqua Paola also known as Il Fontanone ("The big fountain"), very appreciated by Romans. The opening scene of the Italian Paolo Sorrentino-movie La Grande Bellezza is filmed at the Fontana dell'Acqua Paola.Get the full listing »
