another Rimini 1: Apart from the countless theme parks of entertainment, discos, festivals and markets of which you will have every kind of information as soon as you arrive in Rimini, we suggest you to discover its historical center and its hinterland unknown to most people, but that will cause you astonishment and admiration.
Starting from the Piazzale Fellini, from the Fountain of the 4 horses, we invite you to walk backwards towards the city center, passing through the canal port with its lighthouse, up to the characteristic colored alleys of the S. Giuliano village, crossing the millennial bridge of Tiberius and in a few steps you will arrive at the heart of Rimini, the Piazza Cavour to quench your thirst at the fountain of the Pigna and sit on the steps to observe the comings and goings of the city. A little further on, just outside the square stands the imposing Rocca Malatestiana, which often hosts prestigious exhibitions and events, while on Wednesdays and Saturdays it welcomes the large city market.
another Rimini 2: In another square not far from Piazza Ferrari, do not miss the Domus del Chirurgo and its mosaics, the last archaeological discovery. Continuing on the Corso d'Augusto, not disdaining the windows and the many artisan ice cream parlors, you will reach the Arch of Augustus and the Cervi park, from which you can reach again but make a small U-shaped inversion because you do not have to miss the Malatesta Temple , or the Cathedral of the city, testimony of the genius of the great Leon Battista Alberti. These are the main sites, but we are sure that, during this walk, you will discover from youGet the full listing »
