Holiday apartment for nine people in Pian di Scò, with a shared swimming pool and garden
This holiday apartment is part of a typical Tuscan house, which was built at the end of the 1960s and was refurbished in the 80s and again in 2006. The holiday apartment lies in the outskirts of the little village of Pian di Scò, on a hill.
The holiday apartment measures 250m² and is on the ground floor. It has two bedrooms each with a double bed, a bedroom with two single beds that can also be joined together as a large bed, and a bedroom with three single beds and a 26” TV. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and there is also a guest WC. The apartment also has two billiards rooms, a fireplace, a living and dining room and a kitchen equipped with an oven, gas stove, microwave, toaster, dishwasher and fridge with freezer compartment.
The interior of the apartment is characterised by many works of art and paintings by local artists, some very well-known. The rooms are generous and light and even during the summer months pleasantly cool, so no air conditioning is necessary.
Outdoors there is a pergola, an approximately 5000m² garden and a swimming pool (5,5 x 12m, without chemicals, cleaning with natrium). The owners live on the upper floors. They are pleasant and discreet and will not disturb your holiday and during the months of July and August they are absent.
The surrounding landscape is characterised by hills with olive groves. It is also worth mentioning the Setteponti road, which leads from Reggello (FI) to Arezzo (50km). In the 13th century, it was the main road in the region. Today the road, which affords wonderful panoramic views, is appreciated especially by cyclists and joggers. It is also known as the road of the Romanesque “Pieve” (parishes) dating back to 1000-1200: the Pieve di San Pietro is in Cascia, the Pieve di Santa Maria is in Pian di Scò. You can find further Pieve in Badia, Soffena, Castelfranco di Sopra, near Loro Ciuffenna (Pieve di Gropina) etc. The mountains (the Pratomagno massif 1600m) provide the opportunità to go biking or mountain biking, or to take a refreshing dip in the Resco stream.
