From the village, a small road winds over the hill, just below the small village of Sant'Ilario, from which you can enjoy a fantastic view over the whole gulf of Marina di Campo.

The beach of Marina di Campo is located near the historic center, beautiful and with fine sand, with the water gently descending and therefore ideal for families with children.
Adjacent to the beach, a small port, from which boats also depart with the Island tour, an adventure to get to know the Island of Elba from the sea for adults and children with the possibility of swimming in the most beautiful coves of the islands. Behind the beach, the charming historic center of Marina di Campo that dates back to the Middle Ages with elegant shops, boutiques, bars and restaurants. Even today the area that the Spanish domination has left is breathed.
Part of Marina di Campo are also the most beautiful beaches of the island, all of fine sand, a low sea and turquoise color like the beach of Cavoli which from Casa Olimpia is only 4 km away, the Spiaggia del Seccheto (5 km) and the exclusive Fetovaia beach (8 km), reachable by car or by public transport connecting the various places on the island.
Directly behind the gulf of Marina di Campo another gulf begins, that of the Lacona which boasts the longest sandy beach on the Island of Elba. This is also ideal for families.
In addition to beautiful beaches it is worth discovering the places of Elba not only along the coast, but also inland.
In Portoferraio, the island's capital as well as Napoleon Bonaparte's refuge, it is worth spending a whole day! The historic center is delightful with its shops, ice cream parlors and a very interesting visit to the fortresses that are connected to each other.
For sports lovers there are so many possibilities for lovers of water sports such as swimming, windsurfing, diving, fishing and sailing as well as those on the ground such as bicycles for the road, mountain biking for the trails, trekking, horse riding, free climbing and golf.
You can climb the highest mountain on the island, Monte Capanne, which can be reached either on foot or by chairlift. Throughout the year, the Tuscany Walking Festival offers walks and guided tours of the island.
The last weekend of September at Elba, or rather at Marina di Campo, attracts athletes from all over the world for the Elbaman triathlon: 3.8 km of swimming, 180 km of bicycle and 42.2 km of running wind through the panoramas superb and wild on the Island of Elba. During that time, the island also celebrates its wine festival.
If you visit Elba without your own car, you can rent motorbikes, scooters, quads, bicycles and boats on site.
