The apartment opens onto a cosy entrance hall, with a shelf and a mirror. On the right, just before the living room, you find the kitchen - with a window opening onto the internal side of the building - which is equipped with fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, electric oven and a table for 4 people.
The spacious living room is furnished with two sofas - one of them is a double sofa bed - a TV corner, a dresser, a lovely desk and a dining table with chairs.
The two windows overlook Via dei Banchi Nuovi.
The night area is composed of a bedroom with a double bed (160cm x 190cm), two bedside tables, a functional chest of drawers and a closet; the second bedroom - looking down onto the internal part of the building - is furnished with two single beds.
The bathroom, located between the two bedrooms, comes complete with a tub with hand shower.
For stays longer than 30 days, a cleaning service is included - with change of bed linen and towels - every 15 days.
The apartment is located in the heart of Rome, moments from some of the city's major attractions. Within walking distance (650 meters) you find Piazza Navona, whilst a little further is Campo dei Fiori (about 750 meters), home to a typical Roman local market.
A few meters away is also the Palazzo del Banco di Santo Spirito (1504), designed by Bramante and bright example of Baroque style. For a few years it housed the papal mint.
By crossing the Tiber you easily reach Castel Sant'Angelo, which changed radically many times, both during the Middle Ages and the Renaissance.
From here, a pleasant walk along Via della Conciliazione leads to the Vatican, where you can visit the beautiful Basilica of St. Peter and the Vatican Museums.
In the neighbouring area there are some of the most important shopping streets in Rome, such as Via dei Coronari, famous for its numerous antique shops, boutiques, restaurants and trendy cafes.
Just around the corner is also a small supermarket for daily groceries.
The name of 'Banchi' refers to the stalls where shopkeepers, bankers, notaries, clerks and merchants conducted their business, taking advantage of the proximity to St. Peter.
In Corso Vittorio Emanuele II you find several bus lines such as 98, 870, 881, 46, 62, 64, 916.
The nearest metro stops are Barberini - line A (about 2 km), which can be reached by bus line 62, and Lepanto - Line A (about 1.6 km), which can be reached by bus lines 982 or 280.
