Guests have access to the entire house and full use of the kitchen; bed linen and towels are provided. Upon arrival, our staff will be waiting at the apartment to explain equipment operations and to hand over keys. During your stay, we will be available to address any request/concern.
The apartment was partially renovated in September 2016, so that our guests can enjoy a lovely and pleasant stay in a modern and cosy environment. You’ll benefit from air conditioning (there are 3 splits, one in the bedroom, one in the living room and one in the kitchen), brand-new doors and windows and a stunning oak wood parquet flooring, lighting up both the day and the night area.
Upon entering you’re welcomed into the spacious hallway, which leads to either the fantastic double living room or the long corridor, taking to the night area and the kitchen. Thanks to the position - the apartment is on a high floor - the day area is full of light. The double living room has a washed white wooden wall creating two separate areas, one to be used for dinner and the other for your relaxing moments. The furniture comprises a double sofa bed with chaise longue, a spacious dresser and a cabinet with a 32' flat screen TV. Remarkably, the curtains add an extra touch of cosiness, thus making the room the perfect place for a quiet night with family and friends.
Next to the living area, the dining room is located beside the kitchen and comes equipped with a modern dining table, seating up to 6 people, perfect for both romantic and family dinners. The custom-made, eat-in kitchen is fitted with white cabinets, nicely contrasting with the gray floor tiles, and it comes equipped with everything you may need, including microwave and dishwasher. In front of the cooking top is also a nice breakfast table for up to 4 people.
Walking down the corridor you find the two bedrooms: the master bedroom is furnished with a double bed, two capacious closets and a comfortable red velvet sofa seating up to 2 people. The second bedroom comes also with a double bed and a big wardrobe. The guests have two bathrooms at their disposal: the smallest one is fitted with a big shower stall and washing machine, the second one - surely bigger and more comfortable - has a shower cabinet with wall-mounted seat, a real treat designed for demanding people, who love being pampered in the quietness of their own home.
The apartment is in a very strategic location: the high floor position means quietness. In addition, you can easily drive there: despite being placed within the city centre walls, it’s just outside the limited traffic area.
Please note: parking spaces are not reserved to the guests of the apartment, but they are subjected to availability. Please park within the white lines and remember to show the metal card you’ll receive at the check in on the car dashboard.
AreaYou’re in Bologna city centre, only moments from the limited traffic area and in front of the Giuseppe Dozza sport hall (Palazzo dello Sport Giuseppe Dozza), home of the matches of the famous Bologna basketball team, the ‘Fortitudo’. Piazza Maggiore, the Two Towers and the main points of interest are moments away, all within very easy walking distance (about 10 minutes). In the area of Porta Lame you’ll find many restaurants, including that of the famous chef Cesare Marretti (located in Via Leopardi) and the trattoria (i.e. traditional Italian restaurant) ‘Tartufo’, specialized in mushroom dishes, especially truffles, as the name suggests. Steps from the apartment is the MamBo, Bologna museum of contemporary art, two cinemas (the Lumiere and the Arlecchino) and the ‘Mercato della Terra’ (Earth Market), located in Via Azzo Giardino: it takes place on Saturday morning and sells local organic products. In the area you also find Bologna film library (Cineteca) and the Cavaticcio park, located right next to the famous ‘Cassero’ disco. For a refreshing jogging session, the park ‘11 Settembre’ (September 11th), recently inaugurated, is a breath of fresh air on your doorstep.
Public transports On Viale Silvani, at the end of Via Calori, you find bus lines 32 and 33 (to the train station) and bus line 35 to the fair.
