In the historical and more venetian district of Venice, Castello, few minutes from San Marco Square, you can nestle in a warm apartment full of beauty and silence, looking out on a little and entrancing calle. It is ideal for a get-away for two .
Recently renovated, the apartment of 50 square metres is in a typical venetian building on the first floor. The windows offer a lovely view of street in front.
It has a bedroom, a living room, a well-furnished kitchen, a bathroom with a shower and hairdryer, a washing machine and, heating and air conditioning.
The living room has one sofa that can be turned into beds, so that the apartment can welcome from 2 to 4 people. There is a dining area. The bedroom has a comfortable queen bed and a closet with drawers. The kitchen has a microwave, a oven, a gas stove, a big fridge, a toaster, a kettle and an espresso coffee machine for your breakfast and meals. Plates, silverware, knives, glasses, tablecloths, napkins and towels (2 sets in the bathroom) are provided, as well as blankets, sheets (1 queen bed set).
Guests will be welcomed by me or a representative who will assist you in case of need during your stay.
To get to the famous and enchanting San Marco Square, walk on Riva degli Schiavoni, in only 4 minutes you will be there.
In summer, take the waterbus/vaporetto (Line 1/Linea 1, Arsenale stop) to get to the Lido for unforgettable days at the beach or a walk on the seaside or an aperitif along the Gran Viale.
If you are passionate about modern and contemporary art, the exposition pavilions of LaBiennale are only a few steps away. The Pinault Foundation (Punta della Dogana and Palazzo Grassi) is also easily reachable.
If you love good food, you can taste the most delicious dishes in town by having breakfast, lunch and dinner in some excellent typical Venetian places that we have recommended to you in our guestbook. They all are only a few steps away.
WARNING: November is the main month of the high tide, but also december and january, and I suggest to install in your smartphone the app then allows to monitor the current tide in Venice and provides detailed tide forecasts for the next two days. hi!tide can tell you if different places around the city are flooded or if you can walk without getting wet. You can monitor the tide level in the most relevant places in the city (San Marco, etc.) and at all the ACTV ferry stops. See more on:
From the airport: Alilaguna boat service (BlLUE Line to Arsenale stop) or bus/taxi land service to Piazzale Roma where you can take a waterbus/vaporetto ( Line 4.1 to Arsenale stop or Line 5.1 to San Zaccaria stop) .
By train: take a waterbus/vaporetto (Line 4.1 to Arsenale stop or Line 5.1 to San Zaccaria stop or the longest, but with Ganal Grande view, on the Line 1 to Arsenale stop). Only one bridges need to be crossed.
By car: leave the car at Piazzale Roma paid parking and take a waterbus/vaporetto (Line 4.1 to Arsenale stop or Line 5.1 to San Zaccaria stop or Line 1 to Arsenale stop).
City Tax : the Mayor of Venice has imposed a city tax for non-residents of 1.50 Euro per day (high season) or 0.75 Euro per day (low season). Children between 10-16 years pay 50% off and under 10 don’t pay. Maximum application: 5 days. The cash sum will be required upon arrival and a receipt will be given.
Additional Costs: In case of late arrival or departure, extra fees are applied (40 Euro after 8 P.M., 80 Euro after 11 P.M.). The final cleaning is 60 Euro. In case the keys are lost, 200 Euro will be charged for the replacement of the lock and keys. In case the keys are locked in the apartment, 60 Euro will be charged for the locksmith service (120 Euro from 8 P.M. to 8 A.M.).
