The apartment opens into a corridor leading to the sitting room, which is furnished with utmost care and attention to details: a corner-shaped couch, which can be folded out to a double bed, a piano and a stylish fireplace contribute creating a cosy yet refined environment. Exposed beams and whitewashed walls also add an extra fashionable touch. Next to the sitting corner you find the dining room, which features some stunning pieces of furniture - dresser and dining table seating 4 - and overlooks San Cosimato square. The eat in, separate kitchen is appointed with every household appliance you might need, such as microwave, fridge with freezer and electric oven.
The night area is composed of a bedroom with double bed and a spacious wardrobe, and a marble-tiled bathroom featuring shower cubicle.
The apartment is also fitted with air conditioning and Wi Fi Internet.
!! Please, pay attention that the apartment might be unsuitable for the disabled: there are some small steps down from the bedroom into the bathroom.
For stays longer than 30 days, bi-weekly cleaning is included (with change of bed linen and towels).
Trastevere is perfect to get to know the real Rome, which happens to be quite far from the image depicted on tourists’ postcards. The area, which is reckoned as one of the most typical of the city, offers plenty of osterie - restaurants serving authentic Roman cuisine - (we recommend “Cencio”, “La Parolaccia”, as clients and waiters are used to throw insults at each other, “Il Rugantino” and “Da Gigetto”), pizzerias, as well as cinemas and street markets (San Cosimato’s has been recently renovated), and a wealth of services such as banks, pharmacies, supermarkets and ateliers.
Highly appreciated as a night spot for the after hour, Trastevere has in store some unmissable places, such as the trendy clubs in piazza Santa Maria - where the famous church is located - and “Callisto” bar, both buzzing with laughs and music late into the night.
From Viale Trastevere, tram 8 to Largo Argentina/Circonvallazione Gianicolense and some bus heading to the main points of interest.
