This is a great location situated in a central and quiet street, with comfortable furnishings, well equiped kitchen, high-quality linens. Cisternino has many great places to eat, and a fun place to be for the 'passegiata' walking. For its historic natural features this small town has recently been awarded 'village jewel of Italy' a brand to small towns that promote good Italian living.
Be sure to visit other nearby towns, Lecce, the caves at the Castellana Grotte, and Matera. Puglia is beautiful and so unspoiled by the tourists. I always recommend Matera as an excellent day's excursion from our trulli. Matera, along with Lecce, are two of our favourite spots. Have a fantastic 2014.Get the full listing »
