Main bathroom comprises of a 4 person sauna, jacuzzi large bath. Modern kitchen complete with neff ovens, hob, american fridge with ice maker, dishwasher and Coffee Machine. The kitchen is fully equipped. The dining area has an extra long table that can also be extended to fit 12 comfortably. The table in the kitchen can also be extended which can accommodate another 6 to 10. The living area has a smart and cable TV and a piano.
Externally, there is a decking area and a limestone patio with BBQ area, ample seating to relax with alfresco dining. The gardens also include astro/all weather pitch and mature fruit trees, herb and colourful blossoming gardens as well as access to a 20 +acre woods. The gardens have 4-5 different seating areas in the deck, patio, elevated viewing area, tree house, grass area, all with stunning views, perfect with a good book, glass of wine or just relax.

This house is a short walk to the pubs (2 to 5 minutes) restaurants, grocery , cafes, pharmacy, local fruit, vegetables, honey and juice are also sold in Ashford. The local butcher has excellent meat and fresh fish is sold every Thursday in the village. Public transport is easily accessible within 10 to 15 minutes. Its also home to the famous Mount Usher Gardens. Ashford is a luxurious part of wicklow. Its a desirable exclusive residential location on Dublin commuter belt. Wicklow town is 10 minutes in the car and has larger supermarkets which also deliver. Wicklow town is a coastal town, where you can go fishing, meet the local pet, sammy the seal or jump of the pier with the young locals. Wicklow town is a town with so many locals friendly welcoming people happy to have a chat.
This stunning house is located close to the motorway so its easy access from Dublin airport and all the ferry ports in Ireland. Its an ideal location to do many day trips.
The poet Seamus Heaney lived in Granmore Ashford for 5 years in 1970's. He continuted to visit this place as it was one of his great loves. It is believed his love for this location is not only because of it as a home but he also seen it as a retreat and a place of inspiration.

Shopping is also great, Dundrum for all the major stores, it is said that its Irelands best and biggest shopping centre, Ashford also has some boutique shops. Gorey is the best town in Ireland to find lots of ladies boutiques which is 25 minutes away. You will also find some nice boutiques in Greystones and you also must visit Avoca. We are lucky to have the Avoca cafe and shop in Ashford village but a larger Avoca handweavers is in Kilmacanogue and it has clothes, food, restaurant, cafe and so much more. The Happy pear is also nearby and is a famous place to eat some healthy vegetarian foods in Greystones.
I would also recommend other day trips to places like Waterford, Kilkenny, Belfast and Boyne valley in Meath and Japanese gardens in Kildare and of course Dublin city which has lots of places that you must visit. They are all within two hours from this ideal touring location. Dublin city and airport is within 40 minutes drive.

Ashford is obviously well known for the home of Ashford Studios. They are currently filming the Vikings. Wicklow has attracted many other well known films for the amazing sceneries, such as Braveheart, Exalibur, Veronica Guerin, PS I Love you and so many more.
This house is also close to many Golf courses, Wicklow, Glen mill, Druid glen, Powercourt, Brittas to name a few.
Wicklow has many spas if you would like to be pampered. Two hair dressers within walking distance. Some of the best spa's include powercourt Espa, Rainforest Summerhill, Well Macreddin. Wicklow town and Bray have the best beauticians Eden and Carrigg. They both do a lot of advanced treatments. You can also get a mobile beauty specialist to call to the house if pre booked.
