Birchmere House offers the ultimate in luxury accommodation for those wishing to enjoy all that Killarney has to offer. We are set on a large country site with a private gated entrance with large gardens front and rear including decking area.
Killarney town centre is a 10 minute drive away and is on the shores of Lough Leane in southwest Ireland’s County Kerry. This house is newly finished to the highest of standards but was designed perfectly to integrate new and old. The house features beautiful artwork and has antique furniture pieces located throughout the house to give a unique yet homely feel.
Included with the house are all the essentials so you don't have to worry about going shopping after your long trip. We have a full set of towels, full bathroom amenities, selection of food including milk, fruit,artisan meats & cheeses, locally baked bread,cereals, cakes, sweets, pasta, rice, sauces, soft drinks, juices, wine, beer and alot more.
There are 4 bedrooms, 3 doubles and 1 single. Our large/main double bedroom has a double bed and a couch bed that folds out for a smaller adult and is also en-suite with a shower, toilet & sink. The second double bedroom is also en-suite with a shower, toilet. The third double bedroom is directly across from main bathroom which has a power shower, Jacuzzi & toilet so this ideal for that bedroom. There is also a single bedroom
On one side of the house is the ultra modern living room and located at the opposite side of the house is the kitchen designed to have a more country house feel. The large stove burns away while you relax on the couch and watch your favourite TV or choose from one of the 100s of DVDs available .
A chauffeur/ tour guide can be provided on request, we highly recommend the famous local driver & guide 'Moses' and we have recommended taxi companies if needed
Killarney has a large range of bars, cafes, award winning restaurants and hotels offering fine dining, drinking and entertainment. There is a real buzz in the town, which attracts tourists from around the world.
Best known for it's outdoor activities, kayaking, boating, fishing, walking, golfing, cycling etc., for the less adventurous traveller, Killarney offers cosy pubs with great music, a 6 screen cinema, good shopping and many hotel spas and leisure centres open to non-residents. For the children, there are indoor and outdoor playgrounds. The INEC also hosts well-known artists for music, comedy and theatre.
Whether you are coming for activity, music and “craic”, relaxation, history or nature, Killarney will not disappoint you. It is a very colorful and vibrant little town. The air is clean, the climate is mild and the people are very friendly.
Outside is a large garden with mature trees and you may often wake to find deer and rabbits in the garden or fields nearby! The views of the lakes & mountains can be enjoyed from our patio and to the rear of the house we have a large decking area with more incredible views

It is ideally located so the best of all worlds can be explored - nightlife in the town, walking the park or mountains, golfing, fishing, take a boat ride on one of the infamous three lakes, horse riding or just relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside.
Located closeby are the Lakes of Killarney next to all the Trails and National Park, our home is an ideal base for your trip to Ireland. Killarney offers traditional Irish hospitality at its best. Whether you would like to do day trips like the Ring of Kerry, Dingle, Gap of Dunloe or partake in a round of golf at Killarney Golf Course host to the 2010 and 2011 Irish Open Championship, fish in one of the many local rivers, take a boat trip on one of the infamous 3 lakes or enjoy traditional Irish music in one of the many local pubs - the choices are abundant. We are also a short distance to a number of beaches.
There is a local train station with trains to Dublin,Cork,Limerick. Bus services to Galway. Kerry has a local airport approx 15 minutes form the house or the main airport is Cork which Ryanair and Aer Lingus fly into.
There is a beautiful bike trail from the house which goes along by the local wood and National Park that brings you into town.
