Welcome to the Cozy Corner Cabin, where sliding glass doors bring iconic views of Kachemak Bay, the Alaskan Mountains, Cooks Inlet, Dixon Glacier, Portlock Glacier, Grewingk Glacier, and the famous Homer Spit right into your bedroom. At night the moonlight casts shadows on the water and mountain peaks, and lights glowing on the nearby Homer Spit fill the sky.
Inside you'll find a large mudroom for your boots and jackets, and a cozy bedroom equipped with a kitchenette, dining counter, and marble bathroom.
Perfect for couples, relax and unwind at the Cozy Corner Cabin after a day catching your limit of halibut or salmon, hiking Kachemak Bay’s gorgeous trails, or taking a trip on the Danny-J wooden ferry to Gull Island and Halibut Cove across the bay.
The Cozy Corner Cabin has a separate entrance, but shares a wall with the Grand View Retreat, and is located just 9 miles outside Homer, the Halibut Capital of the World and a renowned artist and foodie haven. Being just outside of town means you can safely view Alaskan wildlife from the 3 expansive wood decks in the Chalet, including bears, our resident moose family, and bald eagles; or walk along the Spit and look for seals, otters, and the occasional whale. Your friendly and knowledgeable hosts have owned and operated the Cozy Corner Cabin & Grand View Retreat since 2005, and are available by phone or email 24/7. We hope you enjoy your stay in the most unforgettable property in Homer!
*Notes: The Cozy Corner Cabin (a studio attached cabin) is rented separately from the Grand View Retreat, and is on the same property.
