Designed and constructed in 2015, the guest house is located on the northwest corner of a half an acre property, more than 200 feet away from the main house and the street, providing complete privacy.
• Spacious 500 sq. ft. living space with an additional 330 sq. ft. covered porch, perfect for outdoor seating. The house faces south, receiving lots of sunlight.
• LIVING ROOM: Pull out sofa bed and 40” TV with Roku, including Netflix, Amazon Prime, and HBO subscriptions.
• KITCHEN: Cooking range (oven/broiler/stovetop), Microwave, Large Refrigerator, Coffee Maker, Electric Kettle, Blender, Rice Cooker, Toaster, and all kitchen utensils necessary for cooking and dining.
• BEDROOM: Queen size bed with memory foam mattress topper, large closet, with a patio door opening to the porch and the backyard.

The parking space on the left inside the covered carport is designated for guests. Plenty of additional free parking spaces are available on the street.
You enter the property through a private gate and walk through a private pathway that will take you directly to the guest house.
You have access to a giant swimming pool. At the deepest end, the pool is 10 feet deep. They don't make pools like this anymore! Please note that the pool is not heated, however we do have a quite long swimming season around here. Perfect place to get that California suntan!
You also have access to a detached 570 sq. ft. game room by the pool, featuring a bar (bring your own drinks!), a piano, a large custom made pool (American billiard) table, stereo system, bluetooth speaker, lounging area, and several board games and books.
Enjoy an afternoon nap in the hammock and feel free to pick fruit from the various mature fruit trees on the property depending on the season: pomegranates, figs, lemons, oranges, tangerines...
The Kenneth Village is within 5 minute walking distance where you can find restaurants, a small grocery store, a vegan Yogurt shop, a coffee shop, and a great French bakery.
We are only two blocks away from Brand Park that features The Brand Art Library, The Doctor's House, Japanese Tea Garden, and multiple hiking trails up the Verdugo mountains where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the city of Los Angeles!...

You have complete privacy but we are always available to answer any questions or address any concerns. Please have a complete profile with verified ID and accurate profile photo before contacting us!
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
We have a small dog (a Yorkie/Maltese mix), a white Persian cat, and a few very quiet chickens (no rooster) on the property. The chickens have their own fenced area in the backyard, however, the dog and the cat are allowed to freely roam in the backyard during day time when we are at home. Please let us know if you are uncomfortable with pets around, and we will keep them indoors. Please note that pets are not allowed inside the guest house.
Check-ins are after 3pm and check-outs are before 12pm. Exceptions may be accommodated on an availability basis with prior notice.
On the day of your departure, please take all your belongings, leave the soiled towels in the laundry room, turn off the oven, AC/Heater, TV, and the lights, leave the keys on the kitchen table, and close the door. The rest will be handled by our cleaning crew.
One time cleaning fee is charged for professional cleaning services to be performed before your arrival. Any additional cleaning/housekeeping services requested during your stay will be subject to additional charges.
Please keep the windows and patio doors closed while the AC/Heater is on. Also make sure to turn off the oven, AC/Heater, TV, and the lights any time you leave the premises. The guest house has fire/carbon monoxide detector and automatic fire sprinkler system. In case of an emergency, please call 911 first, and then contact us.
Please keep the entrance gate closed at all times.
Children must be under supervision at all times. Please note that the property is not child proofed and the swimming pool is quite deep.
Visits from a few friends and family to the property during daytime are allowed, however the number of people allowed to stay overnight inside the guest house is limited to three.
Large parties and events are not allowed on the property. We are located in a very quiet residential area. Please be respectful to the neighbors and keep the noise level down.
Pets are not allowed inside the guest house.
Smoking is not allowed inside the guest house, but you are welcome to smoke outdoors or inside the game room. Please use the ashtrays provided.
