In the countryside around Sete you can find vineyards, classic garrigue with flamingos, lagoons producing oysters, mussels and razor clams. Visit the wealth of historic sites and museums stretching back 35,000 years, the thermal spa at Balaruc les Bains or the many picturesque villages.
For the sports inclined, Sete offers cycle and jogging paths, kite and wind surfing, wonderful large beaches and boat hire of all types. The region hosts many musical and arts festivals throughout the year some held at the Theatre de la Mer, an open air stage
framed by the sea.

to be waiting to be discovered.
