The Mas du Parterre (former silkworm farm breeding silk) is located in the foothills of the Cevennes, between Mount Aigoual and the Mediterranean, it has kept all its authenticity. The cottage is located in the village of Pompignan (900 inhabitants), 35min from Nimes and Montpellier. The cottage is surrounded by vineyards and can accommodate up to 4 people. In the countryside, it offers calm, serenity and is an ideal starting point to visit the region. Very rich in exceptional sites (Gorges de la Vis, Circus Navacelles, Grotte des Demoiselles ...), local produce, with generous gastronomy, wines of high quality. This region, with a strong personality, will seduce you. The cottage that we offer is very bright overlooking the village and the countryside. Very well located geographically, between mountain and sea, it gives access to the Cevennes, Garrigues and Plaine-Camargue. Many hikes.
You will find in Pompignan a bakery and a bar, and St Hippolyte du Fort (9km) all the necessary shops, with a supermarket.
