Rental of furnished accommodation with character and charm dating from the beginning of the 18th century, former hay barn (hence its name! ), completely renovated in the heart of Alsace, on the wine route. This accommodation is a continuation of the owner's house who will be happy to advise you to visit our beautiful region, all on a plot of 26 ares.
This tourist accommodation on several small levels has a capacity of up to 6 people. It is composed :
- two bedrooms (1 bed 160x200 and 2 beds 90x190) as well as a mezzanine (1 bed 160x200). The latter is accessible by a miller's staircase (not recommended for young children).
- a fully equipped kitchen open to the dining area with dishwasher, oven, induction hob, large fridge with freezer, nespresso machine, kettle, etc.
- a sitting area with a leather sofa, two armchairs, a FullHD TV, free wifi
- a bathroom with shower and sink, a separate toilet
- cot and high chair
all in a modern and old style at the same time.
New: a swimming pool shared with the owners, heated!
Very quiet area in a village, close to the main roads. Bergholtz is 15 minutes from Colmar train station, 20 minutes from Mulhouse train station and 30 minutes from Basel - Mulhouse airport. In the village you will find a bakery, a restaurant, winegrowers and several supermarkets within 5 minutes.
On sunny days, you can relax in the garden or in the interior courtyard where you will find garden furniture, deckchairs, a soccer field for children, a pÃ©tanque fieldâ€¦.
The accommodation is non-smoking and our animal friends are not allowed.
Bergholtz is the ideal starting point to visit Alsace but also Germany and Switzerland.
At the foot of the Vosges: you can go on beautiful hikes on the Vosges peaks, around the lakes, cycle on cycle paths, downhill or on the many surrounding trails, summer toboggan run, ski in winter ...
You will find near beautiful wine villages such as Colmar, Kaysersberg, Riquewihr, Mittelwihr, Eguisheim (favorite village of the French), RibeauvillÃ© with its Casino and of course Strasbourg without forgetting the multiple Christmas markets present throughout Alsace.
Many parks and museums can be visited in the surrounding area: the ecomuseum, the park of the Little Prince, the mountain of the monkeys, the eagles 'flock, the zoological park of Mulhouse, Cigoland, the ChÃ¢teau du Haut Koenigsbourg, the museums of L' automobile Collection Schlumpf, the city of trains, fabrics, near the Colmar and Mulhouse exhibition centersâ€¦.
Soon the next fair 2016 in Mulhouse, the Alsace Vineyard Marathon in Molsheim ...
If the length of your stay allows, you can take a leap to Freiburg in Germany at the foot of the black forest, to Europapark the largest amusement park in Europe, enjoy the thermal baths or visit Basel in Switzerland.
