Now to the best bit, the neighborhood! It is amazing. You are in the heart of the city of lights, only a few minutes walking from the iconic Arc de Triomphe that marks the end of the famous Champs Elysées, and from the magically bucolic Parc Monceau where you could go walk or jog. The Promenade Pereire, just a few seconds walk from home, would also be the perfect spot to have a nice long walk, very green and very zen, along the Boulevard Pereire.
The apartment is located in the 17th arrondissement of Paris.
Close to many transportation stops and convenience stores, this neighborhood is very lively and you will find everything you need for a pleasant stay.
Indeed, you will find a Monoprix supermarket just 5 min walk from home, on the reputed Avenue des Ternes and a slightly smaller Franprix supermarket only 3 min walk away, on Rue de Saint-Sénoch, as well as a bank and a pharmacy just round the corner, and a few bakeries to buy some traditional French baguette!
If you feel like cooking for real or just having a nice tour, you will find some colorful street markets not far from home, where you could buy fresh fish, meat and vegetables directly to farmers, at the Marché des Ternes or Marché Poncelet / Bayen.
You will love the plenty of trendy bars, cafés and restaurants nearby. If you feel like not walking at all, then you will love to eat French or Japanese in one of the relaxed and modern restaurants just down the street. You could also go to "La Famiglia di Rebellato" on the Avenue Niel (5 min walk) for some fantastic Italian food and to "Amici" on the Avenue des Ternes, a great bar à vin with cool tapas (3 min walk). If you like fish, then I would recommend "Les Voiles" (3 min walk). They are just too many options!
If you feel like indulging yourself with some great cocktails while watching an outstanding view on Paris, then you should go to the rooftop bar of the "Hyatt Regency Paris Étoile", just an 8 min walk from my flat.
There are also plenty of excellent Kosher restaurants and shops near the house.
You will have plenty to do!
