Welcome to Terra Mar #507, your tropical getaway in paradise. This Gulf-front resort-style condo has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths with generous square footage. Please note there is a 2-week minimum stay. There is tile flooring in the entry hall, kitchen, and bathrooms, with rich dark wood flooring in the dining and living areas, as well as bedrooms. The kitchen is a chef's delight, is open and airy with a window overlooking the boulevard and plaza, with plenty of counterspace and well-stocked cabinets to make it easier to prepare full-course meals, should that be on your list. There is a refrigerator/freezer with ice-maker, a slide-in range and self-cleaning oven, built-in above range microwave, and dishwasher. There is a double stainless steel sink with disposal, a pass through to the dining area with two padded barstools, and tray ceilings with indirect lighting and a ceiling fan.
This resort is located at the quiet southern end of Estero Island and is within walking distance of a myriad of amenities that include a public marina and movie theatre. The resort has a unique beach/lagoon setting on the gulf side. The Wyndam resort is nearby where, by the way, there is a Pincher's Crab Shack restaurant. Directly across the boulevard is a CVS pharmacy and Santini Marina Plaza, with many shops and restaurants. There is also quick exit via the south bridge to nearby Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero and RSW International Airport. The beach at this portion of the island is expansive, connecting its guests to 7 miles of white sugar sand beach. Trolley service is available from directly in front of Santini Plaza to the Times Square area, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach, where there is an extended fishing pier and too numerous to count clubs, restaurants, and boutiques. The trolley can also take you south to the secluded Lover's Key park.
Amenities at Terra Mar include a swimming pool, shuffleboard court, tennis courts, and easy beach access, as well as ample parking. Near the pool area is a sauna, as well as outdoor shower by the pool. At ground level facing the beach and to the right is a platform with picnic table and gas grills. There is also a rec room at ground level near the secure lobby. The island's major supermarket, Publix, is just a 2-mile drive away.
Entry at ground level is through a secure lobby where an elevator takes you to #507. Bellman trolleys and luggage carts are available to make your arrival a little easier. The hallways on each floor are open air, yet sheltered from the elements, to allow the island winds to waft around you as you approach the door to your accommodations. From the elevator and to the right, the condo is at the end of the hallway. The view from here is of the boulevard and Santini Marina Plaza.
Upon entry you will immediately see the Gulf of Mexico, looking past the kitchen as described above, the spacious dining room, living room and screened balcony. Immediately to your right upon entry is the kitchen as previously described, with the view from its window of the boulevard and plaza.
Back into the hallway/foyer and to the right we step into the dining and living areas, but first just past the kitchen and to the right is a tiled hallway, off of which is the guest bedroom and bath. In this hallway there is also a laundry area with stacked washer and dryer behind louvered doors.
The bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, night stand with lamp, as well as a single bed. There is a triple dresser, a 2-drawer chest, as well as a corner rattan chair with cushions. One of this bedroom's windows looks out over the boulevard and plaza, and the other window provides a view of the resort pool, lagoon, and Gulf of Mexico, with Sanibel Island in the distance. There is ample closet space, as well as ceiling fan.
Back into the hallway and to the right is the tiled guest bath with a nicely tiled walk-in shower with glass door, commode, and vanity with lavatory with storage space beneath.
Back out towards the kitchen and to the right is the dining area, nicely furnished with a rectangular table with 6 leather chairs and a buffet.
The adjacent bright, airy, and well-furnished living room has sliding glass doors opening to the screened-in and furnished balcony with its approximately 180 degree view from a fifth floor vantage point with Sanibel Island to the right, and the open Gulf of Mexico straight out. Balcony furniture includes a cafe table with two cushioned chairs, as well as two corner cushioned chairs with ottomans and floor lamps. The living area has a queen-size sleeper sofa, two end tables with lamps, a leather recliner, and two over-stuffed swivel rockers. There is also a round glass-top coffee table on an area rug, as well as credenza with large flat screen TV for your viewing pleasure.
Back through the living area and to the left is the master bedroom that is furnished with a king-size bed, night stands and lamps, a double dresser with mirror and a flat screen TV, as well as a luggage stand. There are sliding glass doors out to the balcony with the same view as from the living room. Upon waking in the morning the view will be of the nearby lagoon and endless Gulf of Mexico. There is a ceiling fan, as well as a full length wall mirror. There is a large walk-in closet to the right, next to the door from the living area, and on the left is the en suite bathroom with nicely tiled walk-in shower with sliding glass doors, commode, and vanity with lavatory and wall mirror. There is plenty of drawer and cabinet space under the vanity.
The island has numerous restaurants and night life for your choosing. Water activities abound. There's parasailing, jet ski rentals, fishing charters to name a few. Your stay at Terra Mar will definitely provide the potential for an unforgettable getaway!
