bedrooms and 2 baths in a very tropical gulf-front setting lending to an island atmosphere without even
leaving the resort. A minimum stay of one month is required. There is carpeting throughout, with tile in
the entry, kitchen, bathrooms, and patio. Decor is warm and tropical. The kitchen is a chef's delight with
recessed lighting in the ceiling, plenty of counterspace with tile backsplash, and well-stocked cabinets to
make it easier to prepare full-course meals, should that be on your list. There is a double stainless steel
sink with disposal, refrigerator/freezer with ice maker, glasstop range and self-cleaning oven, countertop
microwave, and dishwasher. There is a pass through to the dining area. From the kitchen window is a
view of the back bay, adding to the spacious and airy feeling this condo has.
This resort is located at the quiet southern end of Estero Island, and is only a 3-5 minute drive to a wide
variety of amenities that include a public marina, movie theatre, and restaurants. The island's Publix
supermarket is located mid-island, also within a short driving distance. The resort has a unique
beach/lagoon setting on the gulf side, with a wildlife area and gulf beach access. Just down the boulevard
is a CVS pharmacy and Santini Marina Plaza, with many shops and restaurants. There is also quick exit
via the south bridge to nearby Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero and RSW International Airport. The beach
at this portion of the island is expansive, connecting its guests to 7 miles of white sugar sand beach.
Trolley service is available to the Times Square area, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach, where there is
an extended fishing pier and too numerous to count clubs, restaurants, and boutiques. The trolley can also
take you south to the secluded Lover's Key park and Bonita Springs.
Amenities at Sun Caper include a resort style pool, community center, fitness area, as well as ample
parking and an outdoor grill area.
Entry at ground level is through a secure lobby where an elevator with a glass wall takes you to #805.
Your view on the way up is of the boulevard and back bay. Bellman trolleys and carts are available to
make your arrival a little easier. The hallways on each floor are open air yet sheltered from the elements,
to allow the island winds to waft around you as you approach the door to your accommodations, which is
the first unit to the left of the elevator.
Walk into a foyer and immediately to the left is a utility closet, and to the right is the kitchen as described
Directly across from the kitchen is a hallway with a laundry area behind folding doors, with your own
washer and dryer that will allow you to return home with suitcases full of clean clothes. Also in this area
is the guest bedroom and bath. The bedroom has beautiful custom built wall units and a corner desk, with
pull down Murphy bed, a three-drawer chest with lamp, and ample closet space with mirrored louvered
doors. A window in this room also overlooks the boulevard and beyond. The guest bathroom has a
combination tub/shower, vanity with lavatory, and commode. The entire guest and laundry area can be
closed off for privacy.
Back into the hallway and straight on is the dining area with a mirrored wall that adds to the spacious
feeling, furnished with a round glass-top table with four upholstered chairs and a buffet.
The adjacent spacious, bright, airy, and well-furnished living room has expansive sliding glass doors
opening to the screened-in and furnished balcony with its 180-degree view of the gulf and beach towards
Sanibel Island to the north and west, and the skyline of Bonita Springs and Naples to the south and east,
all from an eighth floor vantage point. Balcony furnishings include a cushioned wicker love seat, as well
as a glass-top wicker cafe table also with two cushioned wicker chairs. The living area is nicely furnished
with two sofas, one of which is a queen-size sleeper sofa with end table and lamp, a floor lamp at the end
of the other sofa, as well as glass-top coffee table. In the corner is an overstuffed chair with table and
lamp. There is also a credenza with large flat screen TV for your viewing enjoyment.
From the living area and to the left of the balcony is the master bedroom with en suite bath. The bedroom
is furnished with a queen-size bed with night stands with lamps. There is a leather chair with ottoman, as
well as a triple dresser with flat screen TV. A huge window offers the awesome views that include the
tropically landscaped rear lawn areas to the left and straight out towards the tropical ponds and gulf, and
to the right is the swimming pool and Tiki hut cabana. There are sliding glass doors from here out to the
balcony as well. To the left of the access to the balcony is a corner upholstered chair. Just before entering
the en suite bath there is a hallway with walk-in closet to the right, with other closet space behind
louvered doors to the left. The bathroom has a large vanity with lavatory with plenty of drawers and
cupboard space, linen closet, commode, and walk-in shower with sliding glass doors.
The island has numerous restaurants and night life for your choosing. Water activities abound. There's
parasailing, jet ski rentals, fishing charters to name a few. Your stay at Sun Caper will definitely provide
the potential for an unforgettable getaway!
