Summer 2019 almost completely booked. Hurricane Michael renovations at Sandcastle in Sunset Beach complete by Feb 28 and the place looks better than ever. It is equipped with a brand new floor upstairs, some new outdoor patio furniture, a brand new hot tub, and a new walkway to the beach. The beach itself appeared to be widened by Hurricane Michael, and the dunes are in the process of rebuilding. The beach looks beautiful.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Community Pool was damaged and under reconstruction. Scheduled finish June 1. Rates reflect this. But we have a new large 6 person hot tub we hope will allow some fresh water R&R.

It Comfortably sleeps 12 (including 6-8 adults); 4BR, 4 full bathrooms, 2 half bathrooms - and the futon can sleep additional 2 more people if necessary, taking it to 14.

The top floor is an open living, dining and kitchen plan with soaring #1 pine tongue & groove ceilings and oak hardwood floors. The large kitchen has granite counters, a downdraft cook top, wall ovens, an ice machine, tons of cabinet space, a large hall pantry, full kitchen amenities for large meal preparation- perfect for those large family gatherings! The Master suite is stunning and cozy with a plush king bed, wood ceilings, extra large walk-in closet and its own personal Juliet balcony, perfect to watch the kids swim in the pool or catch a glimpse of the bay. The master bath is handicapped accessible with a large standing shower with 4 shower heads with rails and grab bars, a tile ramp, shower seat, and multi-purpose faucet accessories, dual vanities and a large garden tub. The top floor beachfront balcony opens up with multiple storm-doors and a handicapped accessible ramp on the west side.
The middle floor has a 2nd and 3rd Master Bedroom with King beds and en-suite bathrooms, and a 4th bedroom with bunk-beds sleeping 6 and a separate family room with a wet bar and an additional bathroom. A comfortable futon sits in the 2nd floor family room for seating and extra sleep capacity. All levels have large covered decks, with ample loungers and outdoor dining furniture and an outdoor spiral staircase connects all decks. The wet bar in on this level is a great place for the kids to play games or watch TV while the parents relax upstairs. All 2nd floor bedrooms have carpet installed late 2016.
The interior ground level space offers a large foyer, an interior elevator for loading and unloading groceries and luggage and a half bath when you come in from the beach. The ground level deck has an outdoor shower, a charcoal grill, fish cleaning sink and a new 6 person hot tub!
The home is located just a few hundred feet from the fantastic Sunset Beach Clubhouse with its heated community pool and tennis courts. This home was purchased and retrofitted for maximum comfort, convenience and relaxation for large or small gatherings.
The home features upgraded technology - all bedrooms, family room and living room are equipped with Smart TVs with TIVO device powered by Mediacom (500 + channels) and have parental controls in bedrooms (code available). WIFI is installed available throughout the entire home. A Denon HEOS speaker system is on floors 2 and 3 to play your Itunes music, and the owners installed a Uniden cell phone booster that boosts cell signals by 2-3 bars on every major carrier throughout the home.
