The security deposit will be refunded to the tenant after having formally left the same method of payment that he used to make his reservation. This deposit will be refunded when it is verified that the property was returned in the same way that it was delivered to the tenant. Any damage or loss to the property will be deducted from the security deposit before reimbursement by the rental company.
The tenant is committed to maintaining the property in good standing and compensating M & I for any damage intentionally caused to the property by his own will or due to carelessness of himself or the members of his group.
The tenant may under no circumstances sublet part or all of the property during his stay to third parties without the written consent of M & I.
M & I reserves the right to access the property in case it has to repair something during a normal day between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM. In case of emergency the owner or his representatives can enter the property at any time to protect lives and prevent any damage to the property. The owner or his representatives also reserve the right to inspect the property if they understand that there is a real reason to believe that the tenant or one of their guests is misusing or damaging the property.
Use of property
The tenant must use the facilities of the villa for recreational and holiday purposes. Therefore the tenant must comply with national, provincial and municipal laws. The tenant must not use the facilities of the property to disturb the peace and tranquility of the neighbors. Any inappropriate behavior can result in the immediate cancellation of this contract without refund of any part of the property to the tenant.
The tenant accepts and receives the property in good condition and undertakes to take care of each of the spaces and furniture delivered. No alterations, removals, repairs or improvements may be made without the prior consent of the owner and their representatives.
Liability and compensation
The principal tenant accepts his responsibility for any negligence or damage caused by his visitors or one of the members of his team. The tenant should contact the owner's representative informing him of the damage to the property. The tenant must immediately pay the owner the cost of repairing the damage. The tenant releases M & I, the owner and their representatives of any loss of human life, clothing, money or any other valuable item since the villa has a safe and a first-class security system.
M & I, the owner of the villa and its representatives will not assume any responsibility with the tenant or his guests or visitors. Under no circumstances M & I, the owner of the villa or its representatives will be responsible for any damage, injury, pain or injury caused to the tenant in relation to this short-term rental agreement. The use of stairs, swimming pools, balconies, roofs, electrical installations, gas etc. are strictly the responsibility of the tenant and at your own risk.
The tenant will pay for any legal and judicial costs in case there has been a case between the owner and the tenant who deserves to be known in the courts of the Dominican Republic. The costs of attorneys and legal advisors of the owner will be borne by the tenant.
Supervision of children
The tenant is responsible for supervising underage children. The owner of the villa or their representatives are responsible for what may happen to the children of the tenants as well as the children of their guests.
Dogs, cats, birds, or any type of pet is prohibited from accessing the property unless the tenant obtains prior permission from the owner or their representatives.
Terms and Conditions
This rental agreement and any of its annexes represent the only agreement between M & I and the tenant. No verbal agreement has validity in this present agreement. The parties act in good faith and agree to abide by the terms and conditions of this short-term rental agreement. This agreement may be modified only in writing and with the consent of M & I under the sole approval of the owner of the villa. Any litigation, conflict and lawsuits must be known in the courts of the Dominican Republic. And the jurisdiction that the tenant and M & I choose is from the province of San Felipe de Puerto Plata, leaving without effect any other jurisdiction due to the present and future domicile of the parties.Get the full listing »
