Beautifully located in the pretty hill side village of Peyia with wonderful views to the Mediterranean Sea. Secluded and quiet but near the local Greek supermarket, tavernas and amenities. About 8 miles from the historic city of Paphos with some of the world's finest mosaics, a castle and a harbour.
We think that Cyprus during November to April can often be the best time of the year. It is often warm during February in particular, with beautiful evenings and lovely days. Our prices are much cheaper then and we offer a monthly rate for the winter lets. This November and December we swam in the Mediterranean until coming back to the UK for Christmas. We highly recommend the winter season for some sunshine and a quiet relaxing holiday. It was about 72 degrees F when I left for the UK!
Paphos truly is a year round holiday resort with blue sky and sunshine for more days of the year than most places in Europe.
This unique city is on the UNESCO List of World Cultural Heritage. The Tombs of the Kings is one of the attractions to see and many other historical sites as well as the old town with its interesting buildings and market.
You will find many bars and restaurants in Paphos and surrounding coastal areas, ranging from traditional greek tavernas to smart new bars and cafes.
Coral Bay has some of the finest beaches in Cyprus. It is a 5-10 minute drive to Coral Bay. The Akamis Peninsula, reputedly the most beautiful area of Cyprus is about 5 miles away. Here are more sandy beaches with very few tourists. Lara Beach, the turtle nesting beach is on the Akamis, about 8 miles from the penthouse apartment. During the summer you should be able to see baby turtles. Further to the north is Latchi and Polis with lovely fishing harbours, marinas and beaches.
Paphos International Airport is about 40 minutes drive. (This is probably the most relaxed airport in the world!). Limassol Port about 1 hour. It is recommended that you hire a car to see the whole area, although people do mange without. There are buses throughout the village going to a number of beauty spots and into Paphos.
