This wonderful 1940s renovated cottage is about 1500 square feet and is furnished with antiques and very comfortable furniture.
Situated on the St. George River, the cottage sits 20 feet back from Wiley Cove at the end of a 1/2 mile dirt road in Cushing, about 5 miles from Thomaston.
There are lobster boats working right in front of the house in the river, and wildlife abounds. This is a wonderful place. There are 2 deep water moorings, available for boats, directly in front of the cottage. And the house also has its own beach for swimming and exploring just below a wonderful big deck that hangs over the water.
Port Clyde and the open ocean are just down the river. This fishing village is located on the opposite shore, at the end of the St. George Peninsula and is accessible by boat or by car. By either method of transportation, it is a nice ride for a visit to the general store, ice cream and a lobster roll at the Dip Net.
It has a wonderful fireplace in the living room and a kitchen with lovely dining area. The house also has a washer and dryer and Monitor heaters in the bathrooms.
The cottage has three bedrooms (queen, two singles, one double), one full bathroom (tub & shower).
There is another double bed in the guest house where you will also find a half bath.
Dogs may be CONSIDERED with pet fee and acceptance of pet policy. We will need to know size, breed and age of the dog.

With that said, if you have certain needs regarding the internet, please let us know and we will indicate the properties providing the service that best meets your needs.
