The island of Vis is the island of the Adriatic Sea, the most western of Dalmatia with an area of 90.3 km2. It enjoys an exceptional historical, cultural and natural heritage, a sea of crystalline purity, wonderful beaches, bays and small remote islands, very welcoming inhabitants. It is therefore very easy to understand why the island of Vis is a tourist destination very popular with visitors looking for an authentic atmosphere and a Mediterranean lifestyle, which has almost disappeared.
Vis fascinates by its natural and cultural heritage, but also by its energy. Its beautiful and unspoilt nature, ecological agriculture and preserved and unique traditional architecture are the assets of the island of Vis, unique in its kind.
"Fascinating", "Sumptuous", "the pearl of the Adriatic", "the paradise island", "of the Mediterranean as it used to be" ... these are the terms used by the people who visited the island of Vis. This island is classified by the World Conservation Organization (WWF) as one of the last ten most paradisiacal islands in the Mediterranean. The bays and hills of the island, as well as the islets that surround the island of Vis (the island of Biševo with the Blue Cave, Ravnik Island with the Green Cave etc.) offer a wide choice of excursions theme.Get the full listing »
