There can be way too much stress involved in renting a large vacation villa, and that’s no way to begin any getaway trip.
Who gets the best bedroom? Where’s the most beautiful view located? Are all the beds the same size? The questions can be endless, the pressure from loved ones too much for the average human to overcome.
Casa Oktara ends all of these debates and makes your vacation so much smoother in the process.
Now picture this: Five bedrooms in the house, all featuring en-suite bathrooms, king beds, and air conditioning units. Each room has a direct, unobstructed view of the powerful Pacific Ocean to the west. Two of the bedrooms are upstairs with a shared deck. The other three bedrooms are on the ground floor. It is an absolutely ideal setup for families and friends, a vacation home where no adult feels like they ended up with the “bad room” or gets stuck sleeping on a futon.
Translation: You’ve discovered Pura Vida paradise! They should all thank you later.
Casa Oktara is located in the hills above the southern Pacific town of Uvita. From the villa, it’s less than a 10-minute drive to multiple stores, restaurants, banks, and pharmacies. Spend 20 minutes in the car and you can visit more than a half-dozen different beaches in the area.
From the patio facing the ocean, wildlife is all around you. Monkeys swing from branches and toucans swoop from tree to tree. Pizotes, anteaters, parrots, butterflies, crabs, and frogs have been known to visit the area at any moment. And that’s just the tip of the tropical iceberg in this lush jungle retreat.
Construction at this incredible 5-bedroom, 5 ½-bath villa wrapped up in April 2019. From the cushions on the couches to the blades in the blender, everything at Casa Oktara is fresh and crisp. All of the appliances are stainless steel, as is the outdoor barbeque. The dining-room table seats eight guests comfortably. There is a flat-screen television with SKY satellite as well as SKY fiber-optic internet service. Washer, dryer, and dishwasher? We’ve got you covered there, too, soap included.
Living space — both outdoors by the swimming pool and inside the house — is abundant. There are several couches, tables, rocking chairs and loungers for everyone to enjoy. The pool has a shallow end for kids and those adverse to risk-taking. The deep end goes about 6 feet to the bottom for wild ones that like to cannonball and hold their breath for long periods of time. Flip on the pool party lights each night and watch the crowd go crazy for the electric show!
There are two other fantastic features that deserve a mention. The hallway linking some of the bedrooms to the living area is wrapped in glass with a sweet garden view. The bright jungle mix of greens, oranges, and reds really pop as you cruise through this hallway. Another great feature is the view of the Whale’s Tail from the kitchen. It’s a straight-shot sightline right down the neck of the region’s most famous sandbar. Typically, the Whale’s Tail is viewed from above and off to the side, so to get to see it each day from this vantage point is unique.
Other amenities include covered parking for multiple vehicles, a grass lawn for fun and games, UV-filtered water that is drinkable off the tap and a gated security entrance as you enter the community.
