With recessed lighting and hardwood floors throughout, upgraded bathrooms, classic furniture and collectors pieces, in addition to one of the best backyards for entertaining in the entire area this home is complete from inside out.
While the inside of the home is wonderfully appointed, the backyard is this property's featured attraction according to past guests. As mentioned above, couch and lounge chair seating, dedicated teak outdoor dining table, natural gas fireplace, jacuzzi (maintained professionally on a weekly basis) and a natural gas bbq island make the backyard a truly exception extension of this home. A large modern umbrella provides shade during warm sunny days, and a trellis offers the same above the dining area. Two chaise lounge chairs are shaded by the overhang of the master bedroom deck, but there's plenty of room to move them into direct sunlight.
From the master suite enjoy sunset and ocean views. The master bedroom also has his/her bathroom sinks, double shower heads in a recently remodeled bathroom, bathtub and 32" HDTV with AT&T U-verse and full movie channels. The king size bed is situated so you can wake up with views of the ocean. There is an industrial clothes rack and a chest of drawers for your clothing storage. Finally, enjoy evenings on the private deck off the master with spectacular ocean and sunset views. This location is a dream, just east of the freeway (I-5) you are within 3 minutes (less than 1 mile drive) to local parks and beaches and some of the best north county coastal shopping, restaurants, lounges, and surfing the area has to offer. Also world class golf awaits at the infamous Torrey Pines resort. For most families world famous Zoo, Wild Animal Park, Legoland and Seaworld are all a short drive away. In fact, Disneyland too is just an hour away! If it's an adult getaway then venture to Temecula wine country and check out the best wine region in southern California. Indian casinos are abound in San Diego. For the outdoor types hike Torrey Pines state park, or run/bike the coastline, bird watch at the local lagoons, or get ripped at one of the many crossfit, pilates, or yoga studios.
Take a two minute drive to the famous Cardiff Reef surf spot and gorgeous crystal blue beaches. Relax after a day at the beach in the outdoor spa that seats up to 8 people or warm yourselves next to the outdoor (natural gas) fireplace. At night enjoy wonderful restaurants and night life in Cardiff or nearby Encinitas. Great markets and small beach cafes in nearby town to enjoy.

Everything. Please note that we have a split garage in which access to the washer / dryer is granted to guests. The remainder of the garage is locked off and is not available for storage or parking vehicles. The driveway can fit 2 cars and our street is in a low trafficked residential neighborhood making street parking quite easy.
Interaction with guests
As much as is necessary. We are available 24/7 before and during your stay but only if and when you need assistance. Otherwise the home is all yours. We also want to make this a unique experience and not just like a run of the mill hotel. We may text hello from time to time to ask how the stay is going. We may drop a gift for you or welcome present (like a dessert) to make your stay just a little bit sweeter. We are just a bit old fashioned when it comes to that kind of thing (customer service) and in a day and age where everything moves so fast and is so digital, we like to take a step back and slow things down a bit -- at least just enough to say hello in person, to shake your hand and thank you for choosing our home for your vacation needs.

**We are available to you for standard check in times should you require any assistance from 4pm - 6pm … for after these hours we may be available for emergency only and only then via airbnb message app. We apologize if this causes any issues, but please consider this ahead of booking.
