Your 3-bed, 2-bath holiday retreat rests at the foot of Wringer, one of Sun Peaks' most exciting ski runs. Step out the front door to take the free shuttle straight to the lifts; then, ski directly into the backyard via the Fairways ski-back off Mt. Morrissey. Snow and nature envelop you, so you can make yourself at home protected from the noise of condos and townhouses. At the end of the day, step into the privacy of the forested backyard for a soak in the snow-surrounded hot-tub.
Accessing Sun Peaks amenities:
Fairways Drive is an excellent neighbourhood for visitors because it features private residences that are both close to the village and on the route of the free village shuttle. If you ask, Gord is happy to guide you in skiing the three mountains that make up the alpine ski area of Canada's second largest ski resort. Cross-country skiing is accessible via the shuttle. If you love to snowshoe, you can access trails from the back door, or, if you'd like a more distant adventure, take the shuttle to any of the other trails throughout the village and the resort. The shuttle also accesses everything from cross-country trails and the ice rink to village shops and eateries. Because the groomed and sanded Valley Trail starts across the street, you can enjoy a scenic 15-minute walk to the village and its amenities.
Inside the house--
Great-room (living, dining, kitchen):
Featuring panoramic mountain views, the spacious great-room is designed as a gathering place for family, friends, food and fun--dining, playing games, watching tv, reading, or simply relaxing on the comfy leather sofas in front of the fire. Books, games, and puzzles are waiting for you on the shelves! You'll enjoy cooking in the high-end kitchen, complete with induction cook-top, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and plentiful utensils. Kids and friends join in the meal-prep at the kitchen island. If you need two ovens, simply insert the divider and enjoy the dual-controls. If you love outdoor grilling, you'll find the BBQ just outside the kitchen door.
Supplies: basic condiments in fridge (ketchup, mustard, relish, BBQ sauce, soy sauce); spice rack; salt and pepper; starter pack of flour, coffee beans, teabags, sugar, and artificial sweetener.
At the end of the day, retreat to one of three comfortable bedrooms:
Bedroom #1: King-size bed, ensuite bath with walk-in shower, private tv; walk out the French doors to the back decks and the hot-tub (sleeps 2).
Bedroom #2: Queen bed; walk out the glass door to the back decks and the hot-tub (sleeps 2).
Bedroom #3--Queen bed; twin bunks that are separate from the queen; private tv (sleeps up to 4)
Bedding: hypoallergenic duvets and pillows; all-cotton linens. Choice of pillow firmness; extra blankets.
Bathroom #1--Main bath with tub-shower combo; quartz countertop; hairdryer; soap and shampoo.
Bathroom #2--This is the ensuite master bath. Newly renovated, it features quartz countertops, a walk-in shower and ample storage; hairdryer; soap and shampoo.
Towels: fluffy white for indoor use; stacks of large, coloured towels for hot-tub use.
A stacking washer-dryer combo meets your laundry needs; iron and ironing board provided; starter pack of pods & dryer sheets.
High-speed fibre optic internet, Wifi, Netflix, and Optik tv meet all your tech needs.
Sports equipment provided:
Two sets of snowshoes with poles.
The garage has ample organizers for skis, boards, & snowshoes. The front entry has a large closet for coats, boots and shoes; hooks in the entry provide additional storage; boot & mitt dryers provided.

With sleeping and dining capacity for 8, you’ll find that the spacious main floor living areas of Kluane Creek Chalet create an ideal location for your family winter holiday or for a vacation with friends.
