Living room has sofa (bed) & reclining home theater type love seat, HDTV & surround sound. Independent zone heating everywhere (thermostat controlled gas fireplace in living room, heated floor in main bath), plus a luxury infrared dry sauna with lights & stereo. One bedroom with a queen bed, night stands & lamps. Comfortable queen sofa bed and queen air mattress can be set up in living room if booked for 3+ or 5+ persons. SW facing backyard is fully fenced, with private patio & BBQ. Firepit can be set up at night if time and weather permits. With free firewood for sure.
Due to out of control credit card fraud esp. from VRBO / HomeAway, we have to take some extra caution. All following documents (taking clear photos with your phone or camera) should be emailed to us within 24 hours after an online booking is made. Or check-in may be delayed, denied or the booking cancelled.
1. A valid government ID with your current address & name matching the booking;
2. A current selfie/picture (like holding a note with today’s date on it) & NO big smile please;
3. A written rental agreement may need to be signed (usually for stay > 3 days)
4. The credit card with exact same name that was used to pay for the booking;
House rules – No smoking or pet inside the house. Remove outdoor shoes at entrance. No excessive alcohol. Quiet (no party, music or loud conversation) after 10pm esp. in the backyard. Do not use towels to wipe dirty surfaces, use paper towels & rags instead
Location is 17-minute drive to Calgary airport or downtown, 6-minute drive to Dalhousie CTrain station. If using public transportation, it’s 5-minute walk to bus station, which then takes 10-minute to CTrain station. 1 hour drive to world famous Rocky Mountain resort Kananaskis, Canmore & Banff National Park.
Edgemont is a very safe community, with famous ravine/hill pathways & best schools in Calgary. House is steps away from ravine pathways for a leisure walk.
