Located in a building from the early 1900s, our apartment has been recently renovated and designed with lots of love and respect for the historical roots of our home city, Sofia.
Our apartment is PERFECTLY located, just across the street from the Sofia Synagogue in the heart of Sofia's colorful, multicultural historical center. You will find all the major sights within walking distance. The metro from the close-by Serdika metro station (280m) will take you directly to either the airport or the bus and railway stations.
The apartment is quiet and romantic, overlooking an inner courtyard so you can enjoy a central location without the hustle and bustle of the city.
We've strived to provide everything that we expect when we travel ourselves. The place is always professionally cleaned between stays. We provide high-end amenities, quality linen, fresh towels, toilet paper, and shampoo to all of our guests.
The apartment is ideal for 2, but it can easily sleep 4 (an extra charge applies). Aside from the queen-sized bed for two in the bedroom, the apartment can sleep two other people on the sofa bed in the living room. Air-conditioning is available in both the bedroom and living room. The rooms are spacious with tall ceilings.
The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, a microwave, a fridge, and a dishwasher, as well a toaster and a water kettle. You will also find a coffee machine with a few complimentary coffee pods to get you started on your first day; more can be obtained from the supermarket. You will also find all the needed cooking utensils and cutlery should you decide to have/prepare your dinner there.
You can enjoy TV channels in English, French, Russian, and Bulgarian, while the fast and unlimited wireless internet connection allows for both work and play.
Discounts are available for stays longer than 7 days or 30 days and are automatically applied once you select the corresponding dates.
You will have the entire 45 sq. m. apartment to yourselves except for the locked section of the bedroom closet where we stock our everyday supplies, and we kindly ask you not to attempt opening it.
Check-in starts at 3 p.m. and check-out is by 11 am. We love indulging our guests, but unfortunately, we have to turn down early check-in or late check-out requests because we need the time to clean and prepare the apartment between stays. We can't offer any bag storage services either, but there are city-wide third-party services you can use for bag storage.
Interaction with Guests
We’re as available as our guests want us to be - check-in and check-out don’t involve meeting arrangements about key handovers. Our doors have smart locks which unlock with personalized codes so you will able to check in and check out on your own.
Message me directly if you have any questions and in case of emergencies - you'll find an emergency phone number in the self-check-in guidebook, which I will send you upon booking.
Other things to note
You will be staying in a residential building, and we kindly ask you to avoid disturbing our neighbors with loud noises or personal requests. The apartment is meant for independent travelers who are looking for an authentic experience and prefer to see the city from a local’s perspective. This is not a hotel though we provide all the amenities needed for a short-term stay.
Unfortunately, the excellent location in the old city center comes with the downside that the majority of the buildings do not have elevators. The flat is on the third floor, and you will have to climb the stairs. A little exercise is always a good thing but be mindful of this fact and don’t book if you have trouble climbing stairs.
We are PERFECTLY located in the heart of Sofia's colorful, multicultural historical center. Sofia’s main sights and administrative buildings are all easily reachable, so our place is an excellent base for your visit regardless of whether you are here for work or leisure. There is plenty to do and see regardless whether you are into history, culture, gastronomy, shopping or nightlife.
You can stock up with fresh food and supplies at the nearby Central Market Hall (called Halite by us locals) or you can grab fresh produce, street food (and even souvenirs!) from the open-air market Woman's market (Jenski Pazar) which is just around the corner.
There are a few 24/7 convenience stores within a couple of blocks and for more serious grocery shopping we have a Billa (200m) and a LIDL (350m) close-by and open until late.
There is plenty of street parking available, though it's free only in the evening and over the weekends. During working days you have to buy a parking permit by the hour (Green Zone) and only stays of up to 4h at a time are allowed. There are a few paid parking lots nearby and they charge the same as the Green Zone hourly permit so we recommend using those. You will get more info in our self-check-in guidebook.
You will find all the major sights and places of interest within walking distance.
