The house is very charming and well decorated, located in the middle of the forest, surrounded by hydrangeas, in a reserved area of Sitio Yawara, a productive rural property, located next to a small rural village (Bairro da Paraibuna).
It has a bedroom with double bed, a mezzanine with two single beds, complete bathroom, living room with salamander (oven for heating), full kitchen integrated, dining table and spacious terrace with large table and chairs, two peacock-style armchairs for rest or reading.
Sitio Yawara is a 15-hectare, productive and well-structured farm with sheep and dairy farming, sustainable production of shiitake mushrooms and greens and semi-organic greenhouses in controlled environment (greenhouse), as well as cheese, quinoa, corn, beans and other foods. Guests can walk through all the property, visit the productive facilities and know the methods of creation, cultivation and artisanal processing of the various foods produced.
We offer, at no cost, for consumption during the stay, some products of the property such as vegetables and greens, fresh milk, cheese, honey, jellies and others (some seasonal and not always available).
The Wool Workshop, attached to the property, processes wool from our herd as well as from third parties, produces and sells products made on the spot and offers courses on the artisan process of wool processing and the production of carpets and the like.
The proximity of the small rural village (Bairro da Paraibuna), allows an experience of this type of community.
Due to the property being in rough terrain, it is possible but not ideal for wheelchair users and the elderly. The access roads are paved with uneven stones of the region.
It is a place of rest, learning and living - not ballads.
The property is 18km from the center of Cunha, 10km from the Serra do Mar State Park, with several trails and waterfalls, and 10km from La Lavandaria, a plantation farm with lavenders.Get the full listing »
