The local music and art scene is very diverse here in Black Mountain and Asheville, so if you're also into music & Art, you're in the right place. Three interesting facts about this property are, that it was once owned by Billy Graham, the TV evangelist, who's family still reside in Montreat. The 2017 movie "Three Billboards," was filmed in Western North Carolina, and some of the scenes were filmed here in Black Mountain at the "Town Pump Tavern," used in the movie as the local bar. Also, Warren Haynes, the lead guitarist for the Allman Brothers and Gov't Mule, two great southern blues bands, was born and raised nearby. Whether you are into meditation, hiking, biking, kayaking, river rafting, zip lining, bird watching or enjoying the stunning scenery, this place is spectacular! Once you are here, your only decision each day will be which direction to go because the beauty surrounds you. Enjoy!
