With a combined 40 years of culinary and restaurant management experience, our staff is committed to delighting guests on a daily basis. In The Blackboard's well appointed bar, you will find a wide selection of fine liquors, limitless choice of mixed drinks, and more than 20 wines by the glass. The Blackboard's dining rooms defines "Comfortable Elegance". The décor is most often described as warm and chic. Comfortable chairs, plush banquette, soft lights, and jazzy background music set the mode for an unforgettable dining experience.
Chef Matthew Congleton's menu always features new special selections in addition to some items from the fall / winter menu that are soon becoming The Blackboard's classics; Prime New York Strip with Truffel Fries and Live Main Lobster. Entrees including but not limited to the luscious Grilled Fresh Alaskan Halibut with Jalapeno Butter Sauce and Grilled Asparagus, Roasted Rack of Lamb with Mustard Demi Glace, Grilled Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Grilled Broccolini.
The wine list, presented by The Blackboard's House Sommelier. is comprised of more than 100 bottles of very approachable and ready to drink wines form, California , France , Italy , Spain , Australia , South African and many notable regions around the World. The selections encompass the major wine regions and most popular varieties, with each category offering a wide variety in price and style. The wines were chosen to complement The Blackboard's cuisine, thus they are perfectly paired with varying courses and enjoyed among multiple discerning palates. The well-trained staff, led by manager Phillip Reiss, is eager to assist with all aspect of the dining experience. Guest Chef Leslie Jovanovic completes the dedicated leadership team.
