Welcome to Skyline View!
This year Beech Mountain Celebrates 50 years!
The 2017-18 ski season is a milestone as Beech Mountain celebrates 50 years of skiing in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina.
The slopes opened in the winter of 1967-68 at an elevation of 5,506 feet, and a half century later they remain the highest slopes east of the Rockies. There will be a season-long celebration of this milestone at Beech Mountain this winter.
The ski resort has set aside the dates of Jan. 20 through Jan. 28, 2018, for a 50th anniversary celebration!
My family has been coming to Beech Mountain for over 30 years; we have celebrated many holidays and enjoyed summertime fun in the mountains.
Whatever the season, Beech Mountain offers you an opportunity to create wonderful memories for your family!
This house is a " Real Round House " with a view of 5 mountain ranges on a clear day.
While watching TV or having breakfast you can enjoy the "Skyline View," seeing the fog roll in and out, or just enjoy the lovely mountain air on a sunny day.
