Interaction with Guests:
We have little personal interaction with guests after they are booked in, however we are hardly ever far away and available everyday by phone or airbnb message between 9am-9pm daily should you have any queries before or during your stay.
Glenelg is filled with all kinds of delicious eateries, sweeteries, shopperies and bar-hopperies, and they are all just a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk from the apartment. Established in 1836, Glenelg is the oldest European settlement on Mainland South Australia, and did you notice something interesting about the name GLENELG? That’s right, it’s a Palindrome, which means it’s the same back-to-front as it is front-to-back. There are over 300 local businesses to choose from along the kilometre long main street that is Jetty Road, and when you’ve shopped til you’ve dropped you can reward yourself with a fabulous coffee, a glass of wine or a meal in one of our many interesting cafés or restaurants, ranging from quirky and casual to formal dining.
Bus's and trams all easily accessible from the apartment. There is a bus stop diagonally across the road. Don’t forget to experience a ride in one of Glenelg’s iconic trams, which take you from Jetty Road right through to the City to Adelaide’s Entertainment Centre.
Other Things to Note:
Please be aware that if occasional traffic noise is an issue for you, the street we are located on can get busy at times, especially when events are on in Glenelg. It isn't a main road or highway, but it is a popular suburban street/access road to the glenelg north beach area. Pet Friendly optional by enquiry only (additional charges apply).
Please note: The house has a portable outdoor BBQ that runs from a gas bottle. Gas refills are the responsibility of guests and are not supplied by management. General refills cost approximately $22 and can be done at Mitre 10, just a 5 minute drive from the property . If BBQ is used it must be cleaned thouroughly by guests otherwise a $50 fee will be applicable after your stay.
