Ballyburra is simply the most relaxing, comfortable holiday home in Yungaburra. Located perfectly in the heart of Historical Yungaburra, this character filled home is directly over the road from the famous Yungaburra Markets (last Saturday of each month) and Nick’s Restaurant and a minutes stroll to the Historical Yungaburra Hotel, cafes and boutique shops.
The Tinaburra boat ramp is a short 5 minute drive for fishing and ski boat launching.
The house itself is an original Yungaburra weekender with a large kitchen opening onto the sun deck for your morning coffee. The Pool Room and front patio also lead out from the kitchen. There are four bedrooms, a king, 2 queens and a kids twin bedroom (no door) all carpeted for the chilly nights and ceiling fans for the summer months. Down a couple of stairs from the kitchen is a comfy lounge area with open fire, TV, DVD player and stereo. There is also a large laundry, and bathroom with a shower over a full size bath and separate toilet.
At the rear of Ballyburra house under the ancient avocado tree is a fantastic undercover BBQ area, great for alfresco eating, breakfast, long lunches and dinners. A great social area looking out over the lawns and garden. This shaded rear garden is a great area for children to play and exercise! The best part is the (new) outdoor rustic bathroom with two steaming gas hot water showers and 2nd toilet, this is beaut after returning from the lakes or long walks and jumping straight in!
From the moment you drive into Ballyburra, you will relax. This home is so easy to holiday at and so close to everything. Whether it’s relaxing on one of the verandas with a book, coming back from a days skiing for a BBQ, wandering up town for a shop or an evening stroll in search of an elusive platypus in Peterson's Creek. This beautiful walk is perfect for kids and adults alike to Frawley's Pool, the Old Railway Bridge and 'On the Wallaby' Track. Explore, relax or exercise - the choice is yours.
Please note that Ballyburra is strictly not available for parties, events or commercial activities………just great holidays.
