This French Country style home is private without being isolated. Located on a quiet cul-de-sac adjacent to a beautiful pond filled with native waterfowl and platypus, it's within walking distance to the center of the village of Robertson in one direction, vast country vistas dotted with cows in the other direction. The house is bright and open and yet its layout makes it ideal for giving people space and privacy with separate living room and bedrooms wing.
4 bedrooms or 3 bedrooms and an office/yoga room (you let me know how you want it configured and it'll be set up for you)
The bedrooms are:
- A very large master with queen bed, designer ensuite, walk in closet
- A large bedroom with a king bed (that can be divided into 2 king singles)
- A small third bedroom with queen bed
- A medium sized fourth bedroom with any size bed, from queen to double to twin - or a desk.
The bathrooms are:
- The ensuite with large shower attached to the master bedroom
- The main bathroom which consists of three separate rooms:
a 2-person tub and large walk in shower
a main vanity/powder room
The gardens are beautiful, with a selection of spaces to relax including on the front terrace in the sun, front terrace in the shade, back terrace watching the parrots in the trees, and on a picnic rug in the front, side or back yards.
The house is situated on a quiet cul-de-sac near a beautiful large pond that has platypus, ducks, geese and various other waterfowl.
Though it's a residential street, the property feels very private because of the mature landscaping which has been planted to create screening from nearby homes.
Robertson itself is known as "The Green Heart of the Highlands", with three stunning waterfalls all within only a few minutes drive, a large number of walking trails and a remarkable (for a town this size) selection of very good eateries.
It's also very central to a variety of other local destinations, from beaches to wineries, making Robertson the ideal base for your holiday.
Half an hour down the pass or Jamberoo Road, you are at the shopping and white sandy beaches of the Shoalhaven. Half an hour east and you find a selection of Southern Highlands villages full of shopping, restaurants and sightseeing. Perched on the edge of the escarpment, 720m above sea level, Robertson is usually cooler by about 10 degrees than the coastal areas - and yet it's lovely and warm in summer without the humidity. It's a wonderful, central place to enjoy the summer.Get the full listing »
