Saltwater is on a quiet street, backing onto the National Park and only a short flat 400 m walk to the beach. Saltwater provides a modern, open-plan layout and is ideal for two families. A first-class meal can be prepared in the very well equipped kitchen with much thought going into the equipment provided including plenty of entertaining platters, bowls, plates and glasses. For those warm summer nights head out to the large indoor/outdoor covered entertaining area with built-in gas bbq and outdoor fridges. There is plenty of seating to entertain and all overlooking a fully fenced safe backyard for the kids or the fur-child to play in with a swing set.
If you are feeling energetic hope on one of the bikes provided or head down to the beach with a foam surfboard, also provided. There are two living areas, two bathrooms, 4 bedrooms and laundry with washing machine and dryer. There is a locked storage area available to keep bikes, boards and kayaks safe should you bring them with you. Another fridge is also provided in this space if needed.
In the immediate vicinity of Saltwater, there are some of the finest beaches in Australia, if not the world. According to the Guinness Book of Records nearby Hyams Beach has the whitest sands on the planet. Callala Beach shares the same sands. Sightseeing abounds in and around Jervis Bay. Mountain biking, fishing, snorkeling, boating, kayaking, hiking, whale and dolphin watching, wineries and just plain old lazing on the beach.
