BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS:-
To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most will respect the property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions.
BOND - A bond is payable in accordance with the booking, and refunded subject to the property terms and conditions being met. It is designed to cover any additional costs incurred including but not limited to, any breakage, damage or excess cleaning requirements, extra guests beyond those declared ..Etc.
Additionally group bookings will require at least 2 drivers' licenses for individual identification, one which must be the person whom made the booking.
All tenants must be over 25 years of age unless accompanied by an adult in family bookings. Photo ID must be provided where requested.
NUMBER OF GUESTS - should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed in advance. No Campers. (Children 1 year old & over included in number of guests).
ARRIVAL - check-in is by prearrangment with details provided for access & keys/remotes.
DEPARTURE - Check-out time is 10:00am, this is to allow time to prepare the property for the next guests (unless other arrangements are prior agreed).
The property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival, the standard clean does not cover washing dishes, rubbish removal or cleaning BBQ's.
The property must be secured (doors and ground-floor windows locked) and all windows shut on departure, please ensure you have made prior arrangements on instructions regarding the keys/remotes. All keys and remotes must remain with the property.
LINEN - Household Linen preparation is offered at an extra cost of $20 per person - this includes preparation of bedding and bath/beach towels.
All beds, pillows and quilts are covered with protectors, however guests must use bed sheets, pillow cases and quilt covers on all bedding.
We are more than happy for guests to make their own arrangements or otherwise kindly advise if you prefer we arranged this for your group.
We provide tea towels and dish cloths.
*When finalising your booking please confirm if and how many guests require linen preparation.
Furniture & beds are not to be moved to different parts of the house during the tenancy, as this often results in damage to walls/carpet/furnishings/etc. Extra cleaning charges will apply to move the furniture back to the original position, along with charges relating to damages.
We kindly ask that you take care on the stairs when moving luggage and port-a-cots, as this is the usual cause of damage to the walls.
SELF-CATERING - we provide all the basic provisions of a standard kitchen, as well as an outdoor BBQ. An IGA supermarket is located within walking distance, as well as cafes and take-away restaurants.
PETS - are not allowed unless specific arrangements have been made in writing prior to finalising the booking. A standard $100 pet fee applies. Pets are strictly outside only; extra cleaning costs may apply. Animal waste must be promptly removed from the grass or elsewhere, and properly disposed. Please note that the property is not fully fenced but can be temporarily enclosed.
This property is strictly NON- SMOKING indoors, courtyard or undercover. Extra cleaning charges will apply for cleaning of lounge suites/carpets/bedding if found this is required from cigarette smoke.
Please be considerate of causing DISTURBANCE to our neighbours, including excessive noise. Unlawful or inappropriate behaviour may result in termination of rental and loss of bond.
PARTIES AND FUNCTIONS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. Use contrary to this may result in loss of your bond, eviction and/or additional payments.
DAMAGES, BREAKAGES, THEFT and LOSS are the tenant's responsibility during their stay. The tenant shall ensure the property is securely locked (doors and window locks) when the premises is unattended. The owners take no responsibility for the tenant's personal property. The tenant will be responsible for any damage to the premises or loss of or damage to furniture, appliances or equipment or items at the premises during the agreed tenancy period. The tenant agrees to pay the owner and authorises the owner to claim the cost of replacement or repair (at the discretion of the owner) for any such damage or loss.
Please check the house on arrival and report any damage or maintenance issues to the owner, and upon departure, so that we can attend to this.
The owner will not make financial compensation to guests for any equipment failure or electrical appliance failure such as air-conditioning, fridge break downs during your occupancy however we will make every effort to have the problem resolved as soon as possible, once made aware.
The owner may inspect the property at any time with reasonable notice and at any time without notice if the owner is of the opinion there is, has been, or likely to be a breach of the terms and conditions.
The owners will make every effort to ensure the property is available as booked. We reserve the right to make alterations to bookings due to unforeseen circumstances or conflicting bookings via other websites.
