Harry’s Retreat is a lovely established family property, located only a short block back from the sands of Blairgowrie Foreshore. A private right-of-way means guests can safely and quickly head to the beach. Easy access means you can come home for lunch or rest back at the house in the middle of day without the hassle of car parking.

Harry’s Retreat has all the features any beach holiday guest can expect, nestled in a lush established garden which offers privacy, tranquillity and comfort.

From the moment you step inside Harry’s Retreat, the house’s style, layout and atmosphere will impress the most discerning guest. Gorgeous light filled interior, the sense of space and personal homely touches, will ensure you can immediately relax, unwind, and take advantage of all that Harry’s Retreat presents.

Harry’s Retreat has 3 bedrooms plus 2 bathrooms and comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests. Pretty quality bed linen and bath towels are supplied for all guests.

The well-appointed modern kitchen is part of the central living area with a large family dining table. The loungeroom with plump gorgeous couches, coffee table and book shelf stacked with books and games as well as the TV Is truly a lovely setting. The combustion wood heater is a welcome addition on winter stays. Imagine meals with family and friends in this open plan area with panoramic outlook to the rear of pretty and private backyard.

The front full width sliding doors open onto an expansive covered front deck and offers guests to Harry’s Retreat, an unparalleled opportunity to relax and enjoy the great outdoors. Here an outdoor dining table, BBQ and deck chairs make this deck a wonderful focal point where guests can gravitate to on balmy summer days.

The carpeted bedrooms are a good size with wardrobes in each, plus bedside tables and lamps. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed with bonus ensuite bathroom. Bedroom 2 also offers a queen bed and bedroom 3 has 2 single beds (a trundle is also in this room if needed – no bed linen supplied for the trundle). Lovely linen along with pillows, doonas, mattress and pillow protectors and spare blankets are supplied for your stay.

The family bathroom has a bath tub, handy for guests with young children, a separate shower and vanity. The ensuite bathroom has a shower, vanity and toilet. A separate toilet is on hand. Bath mats and hand towels are supplied. Note the property uses a septic system so care is needed when at the property. Full details on this is in the property Guest Book.

The laundry is fully equipped with washer + dryer all the extra equipment for washing time ease.

The garden at Harry’s Retreat is a lush green oasis, with a flat grassed area to the front. Little kids and big kids can enjoy a game of front yard cricket or make use of a range of rackets, balls and other play equipment on hand. Kids will have hours of fun in the cute cubby house. The property is fenced and surrounded by mature Moonah and Tea Trees throughout. The driveway easily accommodates 3 cars. Note the garage is not available for guest use.

No matter the season, you will be comfortable when staying at Harry’s Retreat. In summer make use of the split system in loungeroom and ceiling fans in the bedrooms. Open the main doors and close flyscreens and let the summer breeze flow through. Whilst in winter, the central combustion wood heater, efficiently keeps the whole house toasty warm. Blinds throughout are perfect for night time quiet and keep the inside temperate comfortable.

Pets are allowed on application. Please note, whilst the property is fenced, we cannot guarantee it is 100% secure for your pet. Please ask when you inquire.

Schoolies groups are not eligible to stay at Harry’s Retreat.

Harry’s Retreat is a registered short stay accommodation property and all guests are required to abide by with Mornington Peninsula Shire Short Stay Accommodation Code of Conduct. Details of the Code will be made available to guests after booking and a copy is available at the house.
