Nestled in the picturesque MacDonald Valley minutes from Wisemans Ferry the river cabin is the ideal spot for a quiet winter getaway or a recreational summer holiday.
The cabin is 3 bedrooms & sleeps 9 comfortably
Fully air conditioned , main bathroom with toilet & shower, powder room with toilet & down stairs toilet
Inclusions are all brand new, all linen provided fully equipped kitchen including nespresso coffee machine, 2 X large double fridges, washing machine & dryer
An alfresco balcony with seating for 10 people overlooking the magnificent hawkesbury river with TV, can be fully enclosed with privacy blinds and awnings
A private BBQ area with seating and large shade umbrella right on the river
The park has its own private boat ramp.
The cabin has a private swing mooring and pontoon right out the front to make boating easy
At the end of the day, retire to the large covered waterfront deck for a BBQ with a glass of wine or a cold beer and listen to the birds or the splashing of the fish in the river. You could try your luck at fishing. There are a bream, flatheads and jewfish in the river waiting to be your dinner. Just throw a line in from your own backyard.
Bushwalking such as the Great North Road - a convict built piece of Australia's history, wilderness walks, canoeing & kayaking, cruising the river, family friendly, fishing from the waterfront, Golf Course, Lawn Bowls, great views, absolute water front, horse riding, rock-climbing & abseiling. If you are more the Adventurous types you may like to travel further on and take a challenging one-hour dirt track drive to the Hunter Valley wine region. There is also a nice swimming beach in Wisemans Ferry Park just across on the ferry.
AMENITIES: In Wisemans Ferry you will find the essentials you need. Next to the ferry there is the Convict Kiosk for great burgers and other take-away. In the village itself there is a very nice café / miniature grocery store, a service station which also carries basic groceries and fish bait as wells as a pharmacy. For your liquid sustenance you can always pick up a case of beer or a bottle of wine at the Bowling Club or the pub. The Wisemans Ferry Inn has great steaks, etc. You can also eat at the Bowling Club or Busbys Restaurant. If you venture 17km towards St Albans you'll find great dining at the historic Settler's Arms Pub in St Albans itself.
