Looking for a holiday destination with a difference?
Donkey Tales Farm Cottages, provides a unique Farmstay experience, centrally located in the heart of the Victorian Goldfields.
Look out from your lounge room window, to see the donkeys across the sloping paddocks, and if they see you too, it is likely you will hear their individual brays, as they call for your attention! Greatly misrepresented, donkeys are incredibly intelligent creatures, with the most gentle and affectionate nature of all equines. They love attention and will always welcome a good scratch of their rump. Be prepared to get yourself rather dusty though, as donkeys simply love a good roll in the dust (or mud if we have rain!). Donkeys come in all different shapes, sizes and colours. We have a variety of miniature donkeys at Donkey Tales, and are hobby breeders, so a couple of times a year, we have babies for you to enjoy also. It’s just so therapeutic spending time with any of them. You can’t help but smile!
