Akora, whose name is derived from an Aboriginal word for dwelling, is a minimal and understated private retreat. This room with a view reflects the very best of contemporary country design fused with inner-city warehouse chic for a look and feel that is laid back and luxurious.

The simple form of Akora surprises with its moody, bunker grey, wood panelled interior encouraging relaxation and intimacy. Complemented with a crackling wood fire, dramatic vaulted ceiling, mezzanine-floor sleeping space and circular staircase - there's plenty to entice you to unwind in this comfy space.

Rejuvenate from whiling away time in the cedar battened indoor/outdoor spa-room where you can soak in the double spa and relax on the private deck sun lounges.

Akora, is one of two luxury accommodations at Breakneck Gorge and sits harmoniously in an architectural garden that has become a haven for mobs of kangaroos that laze and graze in easy view.

Every constructed and natural element at this gorgeous retreat combines seamlessly to create a special place that leaves an indelible impression. Time spent at Akora is a cosy, soothing and revitalising experience.

Upon arrival the owner will briefly meet you at the door to ensure everything is perfect for your stay.

Rates displayed are indicative only and will vary depending on the dates of your stay, the number of guests and the duration. Public Holidays and Long Weekends may incur 3-4 night minimum stays.

The nightly rate quoted above is based on a 2-night midweek stay at full house rates. 1-night stays are also available. Please enquire for confirmation of rates.

Check-in: 3pm; Check-out: midday.
Weekend nights are Thurs/Fri, Fri/Sat or Sat/Sun.
Midweek nights are Sun through to Thurs.
