This close to everything house has super reliable cell and internet! Professionally green cleaned with all natural products before every stay. No dirt or gravel roads. Only 1.5 miles off a major highway. 6 miles to downtown, Biltmore, West Asheville, River Arts, breweries and more. Short term rentals are welcome. No worries about reservation being cancelled since we are fully licensed and legal for vacation stays, unlike many others who are forced to cancel when caught. (Service people are paid a living wage)

*The Mountain Biker's favorite location, Bent Creek is only a 15 min drive away. Or the Blue Ridge Parkway at the end of our street for serious road biking.
*Short drive to downtown Asheville, Biltmore Estate, Funky West Asheville, River Arts District, South Slope Breweries, waterfalls, and more. Some of the best restaurants in the country are to be found in this area.
*A brand new state of the art Whole Foods just opened a few miles away. Several other healthy or conventional grocery stores are also just minutes away.
*More than the usual is provided, such as shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, laundry soap, laundry softener, stain remover, iron and ironing board, dish detergent, dish soap, paper towel, toilet paper, napkins, lots of kitchen appliances such as blender, crock pot and so much more.
*Rain roof over the downstairs patio, so that you can sit on the Adirondack chairs or rocker in front of the propane firepit, and sip your coffee, wine or beer come rain or shine!
Upstairs includes 2 bedrooms with queen beds, large closets and two full baths with great water pressure, living room, fully equipped kitchen, eating area, & furnished deck with grill. Large room downstairs with queen bed, sitting area with full-size foldout sofa, very tiny 1/4 bath, electric fireplace and walk out to patio with firepit and chairs. All bedding/pillows/towels, etc. are supplied, including for fold-out sofa.
The kitchen just received a new stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, popcorn maker, crockpot, blender, and more. We are always improving for your comfort. This is city water, so pressure and supply are totally reliable. There are plenty of plates, glasses, cooking vessels and utensils, dish soap/detergent, towels and paper towels, placemats, etc.
There are ceiling fans in all rooms, four window air-conditioners, but the evenings are always cool in the mountains.
The two full bathrooms have all the towels needed, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and toilet paper.
Living room has a sofa, loveseat, chair and large ottoman, cable flat-screen T.V, wi-fi, and access to your Netflix, Amazon, Hulu or other accounts.
Downstairs has a queen bed, and a sitting area with a pullout double bed sofa, and electric fireplace.
There is a portable crib, umbrella stroller and highchair,. Upper deck has a gate on it.
Furnishings are very clean, uncluttered and comfortable, plus we continue to add key pieces for their interesting, eclectic nature, such as the candlestick tables and lamps, a bureau/wardrobe with a surprising feature in one of the drawers, a blast-from-the-past bureau with original sales brochure, a funky framed collection of nutritional trading cards, a cute diorama in the hallway, and more.Get the full listing »
