Washington DC, tour the Museum of the Bible, White House and US Capitol.

What Washington DC, tour the Museum of the Bible, White House and US Capitol.
When Thursday, August 15, 2019
08:30 AM to 08:30 PM
By Triad's Single Christian Adventurers and Social Group
Where Hilton Arlington
950 N Stafford St
Arlington, VA 22203
Located in ARLINGTON, VA

This will be a joint trip with the Fusion group in Charlotte similar to the trip we did last Spring to the Ark Encounter. Fusion is a Christian singles group (via Facebook) similar to TCS. Jim Bell is the lead organizer for this trip as with the Ark trip as he was on a similar trip I went on with him to DC 7-8 years ago. We had a really great time. Don't miss out on this fun and exciting trip to beautiful Washington DC in to tour the Museum of the Bible, White House and US Capitol. We'll leave on Thursday morning August 15th and return Sunday the 18th after church at the National Cathedral. The estimated cost for the trip is $350, which includes 3 nights hotel at the beautiful Hilton Arlington ($129.00/night plus tax for 2 double beds and includes continental breakfast), museum tickets, metro pass, shared parking fee at the hotel, and shared gas to/from DC. Food is not included and hard to estimate. Outside of these tours we'll be mixing in other sites and tours in DC as well. Because of everyone having to get a Secret Service background check for the White House this is a date and time sensitive trip. Background checks will start promptly on March 1st and there are a limited number of slots available. Folks that sign up last minute for this trip will not be allowed to take the WH tour. If you would like to join us for this trip please sign up no later than Wednesday February 20th. After that point Jim will let you how to submit your personal information to the Secret Service and details on booking your room. Like the Ark trip last year the rooms will be non-refundable. So please make sure your commitment is firm. The estimated room cost above is based upon your having a roommate. So it will be your responsibility to make those arrangements. Feel free to post a comment if you are looking for a roommate. We hope to see you in August for a great time in DC!! Praise the Lord. https://www.museumofthebible.org/ https://www.whitehouse.gov/ https://http://www.visitthecapitol.gov/ https://www3.hilton.com/en/hotels/virginia/hilton-arlington-DCAVAHF/index.html?SEO_id=GMB-HI-DCAVAHF
