The house is all new inside and absolutely gorgeous. Neighborhood is great and you will enjoy the BBQ in the backyard with a swinging bench to enjoy your morning coffee. The house is all new inside and absolutely gorgeous. When I say everything is new, that includes the walls, triple pane windows, doors, toilets, cabinets, trim, flooring and the furniture. This also includes all the linens, dishes, and everything. The house is in a great neighborhood and is very quiet. The house has huge windows and you will feel close to nature when you see the 30' pine tree out front or see the cute squirrel running across the fence line in the back. Pick some fresh apples from the trees in late August once they are ripe. Bake a fresh pie or apple crumble.
The house is 2800 sqft and is a bi-level. 9 stairs coming up to the front door. Pictures are of the upstairs. 5 total bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Also has 2 living rooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. The basement has 15 steps going down. Many windows to let the sun shine in. Progressively finishing the basement now so no pictures. It will definitely be done by the summer.
The coastal trail is close by for a morning jog or afternoon walk. Shopping is only .25 miles away and downtown is only 2 miles away. It is a straight shot on the Seward Hwy which is right there. Moose's Tooth pizza is Anchorage's best pizza and is only 1 mile away. Amazing pizza and home brewed beer.
Downtown has many things to offer. Shopping, sightseeing, bike rentals, coastal trail and even fishing. Many restaurants and bars to eat delicious food. Renting bikes from downtown is great way to check out the coastal trail. You will sometimes see moose as well.
The end of May and into June is a great time to hit ship creek, right down town and reel up a king salmon. Throw on some chest waders or boots and grab a fishing pole. Don't forget to get a fishing license and be very careful of the tide. The mud and the tide can be dangerous so talk to the locals before venturing out into the stream.
Chilkoot Charlie's is the infamous bar for Anchorage. It is about 1.5 from the house and it usually has a band on one side and a dj on the other. One bar is called the birdhouse which has a slanted bar with many stories regarding the original Birdhouse and full of pranks

I have also purchased a coupon books that offers many discounts on many tourist attractions and over 300 restaurants. Most of them are buy one get one free. So if you decide to take a trip on the Alaska Railroad to Seward and back and a ticket is $170 they will give you one ticket free. The major coupons I will give out one, for every three nights books. The book will be left at the house for your use for any of the restaurant ones or other activities. It could definitely save you a couple hundreds of dollars.

The neighborhood is called Roger's Park. It is well known and families are always looking to live in it. It is a great location, and just a great place with long time residents.
You need a car to see the major tourist attractions in nearby towns of Anchorage. If someone didn't want to do the fishing charter they could easily wall to go shopping or take the bus downtown to do more shopping, the museums or just explore the city.House Rules:We take pride in our property and we ask that you respect the house rules of our home. No guests are permitted at our homes, other than the number specified in your rental agreement, without prior approval. In general, you can have up to two additional day guests, in addition to the maximum occupancy of the house, with prior approval, without charge. Occasionally, we will permit a few more day guests, but only with prior approval. (Please contact the owner of the property for approval.) Occupancy for each house is strict and absolutely no additional overnight guests are permitted. If additional overnight guests, or more than the approved day guests, are discovered, we will terminate the booking without refund. If we make the discovery after the booking is over, we will assess a $1000 fee.
Our properties is NON-SMOKING. We want our properties to stay clean and smoke free so this is policy is highly enforced. If this rule is violated you will lose your entire security deposit and be banned from future rentals.
Our house is located in a very quiet area and we ask that you respect the tranquility of our area. It is a violation of your rental agreement and of county ordinances to disturb neighbors with loud noise. If we get a complaint we will call you or come to the house. If the noise persists, we will terminate the booking. Some neighbors may simply call the police rather than contacting us.
