A taste of the Southwest has come to Ambler to spice up the area's ever growing restaurant scene. Agave Grille & Cantina, 110 East Butler Ave offers Southwest-inspired dishes for lunch, dinner and late night dining. Under the auspicious direction of Executive Chef Roberto Cabrera, the menu features a seasonal blend of Southwestern cuisine with a mix of traditional American fare.
"We want to appeal to all palates," he explained. "The menu is Southwestern with a twist," he added. "From quesadillas made with goat cheese, mango and crab with a pistachio créme, to the Baja Shrimp, 6 jumbo shrimp wrapped in bacon and served on a bed of sauteed spinach all atop a corn griddle cake with a horseraddish cream sauce to a blackened ahi tuna served with frijoles negros and a sweet potato tamale with a hazelnut butter, there is something for everyone. The menu also features a wide selection for children and a unique dessert menu. The chef is also happy to accommodate any dietary needs and to modify dishes for those that like them less spicy or for those that prefer them hot, hot, hot!
