Welcome to the Nob Hill Fiesta Loft - The Pequín! You’re steps away from some of the best dining, shopping, and entertainment Albuquerque has to offer. This quaint space has been meticulously designed. Enjoy your morning coffee on the rooftop patio, which you'll have unlimited access, with views for miles! The efficiency kitchen allows you to do some essential cooking, but if you're planning to cook elaborate meals, check out one of the other properties (The Poblano, The Cayenne, and The Serrano), as those have larger, full kitchens. This place is a colorful oasis, with a Queen bed, a day bed, and all amenities you'll need for a pleasant stay.
The space -
The loft is yours to use however you please. It’s located on the second floor of a building with retail space on the first floor (currently for rent). The third floor has a rooftop patio where occasional gatherings occur in the evenings. Every Saturday morning, weather permitting, there’s a rooftop yoga session, too! You will have your own key to the patio for after-hours use, but can use any time.
The loft is located on a second floor with 3 other units, which are also being run as fully furnished short term rentals. It’s centrally located with ample parking in front of the building, and is steps to local shopping and UNM’s area - the building is equidistant between Nob Hill’s notorious shopping and UNM’s school campus (both a 5 minute walk or less).
Guest access -
You’ll have a code to enter the building, and then a separate code to access your loft space. Both will arrive on check in day.
Interaction with guests -
I’ll likely be fairly hands-off, but if any issues arise, we live within a 5 minute drive :)
If you need recommendations on places to see or things to do, we're full of them! There will also be a folder in the place with our list of recommendations.
Other things to note -
The space is located in an amazing, walkable location within the city, and as such, city noises may occur. It's insulated fairly well, but sirens go by occasionally, or a motorcycle may rev it's engine unnecessarily.
Albuquerque is a city filled with amazing things to do, cultural diversity, food, and opportunities for outdoor experiences that you can't have in other parts of America or the world. It's also, like most cities, a place with it's fair share of crime and poverty. General awareness and not leaving valuables visible in your car are necessary in cities, and this one's no different.
Albuquerque is also in the desert, and as such, has it's fair share of bugs. We spray regularly and maintain efforts to ensure there are no bugs in the building, but unfortunately, haven't tapped into their minds enough to control them entirely. It is extremely rare, but it's happened that a bug or two have ventured into the units. If that happens, I ask for your understanding, as every effort is made to ensure that doesn't happen.
There is an in-unit washer/dryer combo unit, but it doesn't dry particularly well - if you leave it running through it's cycle, it will finish in 3 hours, and the clothes will be both washed and dried.Get the full listing »
