The Eagle Rock Diner & Restaurant has been located in West Orange for the past 29 years. In the very best family tradition, there is always a member of the family on hand, at all times, to make sure the service, as well as the food, is always of a consistently high quality.

Quality is what we're all about. The management uses only the finest ingredients. The 6-ounce hamburgers are made fresh daily from top round beef; the steaks are cut from the highest grade of rib eye; the fish and poultry are the best and freshest a restauranteur can buy. Have you tried out Broiled Salmon for dinner? It is absolutely delicious - and what a healthy meal! And have you tried our unbeatable French Toast made from our special recipe challah bread? It's simply divine!

Everything is made on-premises. We prepare our own prime rib, brisket of beef and pot roast; the turkey, chicken and beef are also all roasted on premises. Because the diner is so self-sufficient, the kitchen staff can amend any dish to order. And the seafood - from shrimp to scallops to a variety of filets - is a specialty, not a second thought.

Featured is an extensive menu with added daily specials offering something for every palate. There are always fresh vegetables on the menu. Why not try them sauteed in the secret garlic sauce? And wait until you taste the Eggplant Parmesan!

The Chef's Salad is made with Eagle Rock's very own roast beef and roasted turkey, combined with Swiss and American cheeses, boiled ham, over a bed of lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers and onions, garnished wih a whole hard-boiled eggs. The authentic Greek Salad is just as large and the California Salad simply cannot be beat anywhere on the East Coast.

The Moussaka, Pastichio and Spanakopita are prepared in the orginal Greek style. The Lasagna is made with whole, mild ricotta, mozzarella, grated parmesan, eggs, fresh parsley and a homemade tomato sauce that is simply to die for.

We take great pride in our home-made, desserts - cakes, pies, muffins, pastries and puddings - all made from scratch.

Lastly, if you haven't tried our fantastic, home-made tuna or chicken salads, you are missing out! The tuna salad is so refreshing, once you've tried it, you'll be hooked. We guarantee it.
