The Baird Sisters | On Canvas [video]

Influenced by Appalachian mountain music, contemporary outsider folk, and Library of Congress recordings of their great uncle, sisters Laura and Meg Baird have been performing in the Philadelphia area for several years. Intertwining natural harmonies with intimate acoustic guitar and banjo playing, their album "Lonely Town" is at once foreboding yet wistful. Meg Baird is also a founding member of Espers, a psychedelic folk sextet.
